Well hey there y'all!

So this week went by really fast for me cause my week went as follows:

Monday: P-day till 5:30, Dinner, Teaching, plan, sleep.

Tuesday: Zone Huddle, Exchange with Elder Sudbury for the rest of the day and until 4pm then next day. (an Exchange is when you go to another missionaries area or they come to your area and you work with them for a day)

Wednesday Get home at 4pm and tract, Dinner, a member came out with each of us to teach. plan, sleep

Thursday: weekly planning until 12:30 then i went on another Exchange with Elder Lolesio till 2 pm the next day.

Friday: get home at 2 pm and go teach a lesson, then go eat dinner, then go and teach back to back lessons to 2 different Baptismal dates, Go out to Venus Texas and teach an over age Child, get back plan, Sleep.

Saturday: Have a BAPTISM at noon, then an interview for another date at 1:30, eat lunch, go tract, teach another lesson, dinner with some members, Went and visited some LA's and had a grand ole time, Plan , Sleep

Sunday go to our first meeting block of church, then drive to Ft worth to hear Elder D. Todd Christopherson talk to the whole mission, Get back eat dinner, Go have FHE with a Baptismal date and her family.

So as you can see a pretty busy week i had a good time this week we also had a guy who has been coming to church for 7 years come up and tell us he wants to get baptized this weekend. its insane how the lord blesses you. Elder Christopherson's talk was really good he told that we are here cause the lord put us here. Also he took questions from us. He is a really good speaker and he is and apostle so it was pretty cool. The work here is moving forward and i love it here in Texas even tho i have been thrown around a little bit. Mansfield TX!!

Hi!!!
Well this week was a good one. I transferred all safe and sound and am liking my new place. So in Mansfield i cover two wards and there is actually some work going on here!!! Its awesome! So we have two dates one for this Saturday with a girl named Paisley. She is pretty cool and is excited to get baptized. She is 17 and has a desire to have the gospel in her life. The other Date is with a girl named Serenity. Her mom is a LA and she is coming back to church and wants her 12 yr old daughter to get baptized so her date is for the 27th of November. So its exciting to have work going on. We have a few more potentials for baptism and there names are Mickey Buck and his brother Arthur, a kid named Jaylen, i like Jaylen he is a really cool black kid who has a lot of friends in the ward ,his mom is the only thing holding him back from the truth. There are some more part member families and people who like the missionaries and this ward gives us referrals so we have a lot more potential here. Nothing to exciting has happened this week tho as far as other stuff. There are a lot of people here who went to BYU-I tho so they know about Rexburg which is pretty cool. Transferred again!

Hey Y'all!

Well this Transfer came and went already. So on saturday i found out i was leaving again to another area with another companion. My comps name is Elder Walgamont. Elder Johnson served with him at the beginning of his mission and he is from Boise. I am going to the Mansfield 1 and 2 wards. My new address is: 2512 woodbridge tr.- Mansfield Tx -76063. This week wa an okay week we didnt have many exchanges so we didnt have a ton of lessons. The daylight savings time switch was awesome tho i was really glad when i woke up at 7:30 on elder Johnson's alarm clock. Because it was actually 6:30!!! That hour of sleep was awesome. Also we had stake Conference this week and it was a good one our Stake Pres is a convert and he has an awesome testimony and it was a really good conference. Today we get to play some football with another Zone! I'm really excited. I havent played that much football out here. I really miss the pads and just being able to throw your self at someone. I really am gonna miss this place and all the people i have met here i will probably come back to this area after my mission sometime. Well thats about all i gotta say this week. Sorry its so short i'll tell ya all about my new place next week.

Hey everyone

Well this week was pretty good we had a lot of fun with the Zone and with the Ward. Thursday we had a Zone Huddle and i got to see Elder Spear who is like my favorite Companion ever. I love that kid. Friday the Ward had its first ward party in like 2 years that was just for our ward and there were non-members there so it was good and then on saturday, cause you know the whole keep the sabath day holy thing, we had a tri ward trunk or treat and we had like7-8 non-members to that one and best of all one of the ladies who came to it has a great need for the Gospel in her life. Her name is Adrianna and she is a 40 year old mom with 4 kids all under the age of 12. She lost her husband about 2 years ago and she has a 1and a half year old baby from him. She found out like a month after he died that she wa prego. She is awesome tho and will get baptized. I dont know if she will get baptized while i am here or not but i hope so cause transfersw are in a week and a half and if tradition stays then i wont be staying but thats okay as long as she gets Baptized! Anyways that was basically my week i love being a missionary!!

Hello My Family!

Well howdy y'all!

This week was a good one we got a lot of work done and we had a lot of fun doin it. Saturday we went and did service and moved like a whole tree it was pretty awesome. Also i think i attached the video to my e-mail so i have proof that it really did happen and i can do it again! Something cool that happened thi sunday is that at church there was a girl who i tracted into who came to church with one of her member friends. Like i talked to her about 5 weeks ago and she said she was going to go to church and the reason it is so cool is that she actually did come!! Her name is Samantha and she is a little different but she seemed really smart and like she wanted to learn. So good things are happening in a Fossil Ridge. As a Zone we get up almost every morning and go and play ball as a Zone so i am getting a liitle bit back i am also working on getting the ball down with two hands and just slammin it home. Also this past week we made some pretty good ice cream i do say so myself they were Strawberry-Peach, and custard and triple chocolate chunk, and we tried cookie dough but it didnt work too well. I love making ice cream now its soooooo good. Other than that not much has happened this week.

BRETT, i got your letter and i'm writting you back right now so yeah and there is the video for ya! JEREMY, The zone conference was strange simply for the fact that he told us we could be perfect and he kinda confused a couple of us with other things that he said i was confused so thats why it was weird. MISTY, hey sis your idea for conference was brilliant i think. You r kids seemed to get something out of it if they wrote something that they all talked about. Why does school stress you out?? Your not even in school? Ha hope you have fun at jakes B-day party tell them all i say hello! love ya sis! MIKE, I know man i love it when people you teach get baptized, it means more, to me anyways. Hey Y'all!!

Well this week has been a real good one! Last Monday/uesday we set a Baptismal Date for Halloween with an investigator named Matt Gutierrez he is really solid and is engaged to a member and is basically super solid. Also the other reason i am so happy is that i just got a letter from some Recent Converts, the Ayers i baptized them in killeen about 9 months ago. When i was there the mom and daughter got baptized and in the letter they told me that Dave the husband of the family is going to be baptized on this saturday!!!!!!!!!!! i was so stoked when i read that its so cool to see/hear about hings like that! Thats the main reason i am lovin life so much right now and that the area is oing great and me and my comp are tight! Anohter cool thing that happened this week was that on saturday we were going to do some service of texturing a wall and there were a ton of garage sells going on and i at one of these i found and ice cream maker for 1dollar and i also bought a ping pong table for 15 bucks and it is really nice and it doubles as a study desk and its a lot of fun to play on p-days. Also the reason i am emailing on a tuesday is that we had a Zone conference this monday and a seventy came and spoke to us (Elder Snow). it was a good conference kinda strange but good. Anyways so my week was pretty fun i had a good time this week!

DAD, I did recieve that bottle of stuff but i would like some more Emv please? Thanks! I do get the college football updates here from one member who is really cool. We talk every sunday about it and its really cool how texans love there football. Thats great to hear about your business growing i hope it continues to grow. So have you had a chnace to get any of that highlight film made?? you could put the video i put on here on there! Ha well love you dad. JILL/Jeremy, you sound really good and like your havin a good time over there in DC there are some people here who are from that area and they like it a lot too. It sounds like y'alls trip up to New York was really fun and it sounds like you were really tired from it all. Ha, your class sounds like it is really good too and that people really like it. Anyways i really dont want/ need anything for christmas this year from y'all but what i want from mom and dad is a pair of strength training shoes so i can up my vertical. if you want to you could send me some Gift cards to places to eat. Conference!

Hey y'all well this week was really good we have had a lot of fun and talked to some cool people. Elder Johnson is awesome and our apartment is really cool too. Conference was awesome and we watched it with members twice which i think is good cause that means that the members really like ya if they let ya stay at there house for 2 solid hours. My favorite talk from conference was probably President Uchtdorf's talk in conference cause he was funny but it was really good. Priesthood was probably my favorite session over all. I was thinking how a year ago i was brand new in the mission and how different conference was then and even how different it is now and how i feel like i know what the speaker is talking about when he uses the Scripts and i can for the most part do chapter and verse and it makes a big difference i think cause i love knowing whats going on and i can think about it more in depth then before.

Other than conference we should be setting a couple of dates this week with some really cool people and having a blast being a missionary. I love being a missionary even tho its hard and challengeing its awesome and i know my missionary friends can attest to that and i'm happy to be serving the lord and trying to bring souls unto Christ. Anyways Pord man i love you keep up the work in brazil and when you write me i'll hit you back i promise. Brett man i will video it and send it to you on a sd card or a flash drive cause i can do it! Anyways i'm excited for your letter. Sean i sent you a letter i think if not i will write one today. BTW send me that video i can watch home video's on my mission is what i've been told so yeah. Brooke you sound way good. I hope that you have fun with mi madre she is a blast and if they buy that house i'm never leaving home. haha JK i will be going to school down in SLCC and will probably have to move out of my parents house for that. Thats funny that your Bro was rabbit hunting he is just getting started early. Mom i will get more info on the GERD tomorrow cause i have an appointment tomorrow so i will tell ya next week. other than that not much has happened.

New Apartment, Same Area!

Hey Y'all!

Alright well as the subject says i am staying in Fossil Ridge but moving apartments to live in my area. I am still keeping the trend tho of getting a new comp every transfer and this transfer i am getting a missionary named Elder Johnson. I think i know him and he is from California just like Elder Rindlisbacher. Not much happened this week as far as missionary service goes but i did DUNK it Last wednesday on a legit hoop!!!! I was so excited and my comp is a witness so it follows the Law of Witnesses in the bible and the BoM! Whoo hoo! Ha sorry still i a little bit excited about it. Also this week i got a scope of my throat cause my chest was hurting an the said that i have something called Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease but everything is going good i am still lovin life and havin a good time down here in Texas!

DAD, Okay well this week was like i said kinda lame for missionary work like our most prospective investigator and his girlfriend broke up so we havent been able to meet with him recently. other than that missionary work was the same talked to about 150 people this week just lke normal and i avtually like knocking on doors so its all good. My EmV is still going good and i spent 30-40 bucks on the doctor so thats where it went FYI. aslo i love you dad thanks so much for everything! Hey y'all!!

Okay well this week was pretty cool last wednesday we went and played basketball with an investigator who will get baptized in about 3 weeks and it was way fun. It was okay basketball it was a short court and we had a blast just runnin up and down. I like being a little bit bigger than i used to be i can throw my weight around more and get to the hole easier. It could be the competition isnt as good but its still fun. Other than that transfer calls are on saturday so with the new schedule i will be able to tell you about the transfer before it happens. Also yesterday i got to confirm a girl we just baptized which was cool. Other than that not much has happened here in Texas. Sorry its kinda lame but i will write more next week. So onto y'all's questions/ comments: Dillon, well dill i dont know what to tell ya about the mission cause here i just bought stuff when i needed it. you dont really need a ton of junk just the basics and when you get to the field you can but all that stuff so you dont have to worry about weight on a flight. Wow Dillon thats awesome dude i'm so pround of you and want you too know that it wont be easy but it will be worth it. You will see lives change and people change all for the message that you bring them. I know that you will be an awesome missionary and we will stay in touch so dont worry about that. Brett man thats tight i hope i can dunk when i go home i plan on being able to. I am workin on it a lot so i can catch your oops, when we ball together. Sean man thats insane!!! Your football team sounds legit haha. Anyways the other thing is pretty crazy as well i cant believe it actually. I'm writing you a letter right now so i'll talk about it in ther a lot more. So your going to teach but not really or what that was a confusing thing you said. Have you gone and talked to me madre about all this stuff in your life lately? Mom i'm sorry to break it to ya but you and Dad are kind of old sorry but it had to be said. haha on the other hand tho you guys dont look to old ha . What did the Bank send you cause i have only bought a gift for trenton and Macall's Wedding with my home card so i dont know what it could've said so you might want to check it out. They only thing that happened since thursday is that we baptized cameron and Caleb so its been a good week in the mission.

Rain anyone?

Well hello everyone,

So this week has been very very Rainy. We had a tropical storm pass right over us and it rained for like 13-15 hours straight. There was water everywhere and roads were even closed and some schools got out early cause of flooding. It was crazy not much work to be done for bike missionaries when its pouring rain all day. Its supposed to get hot again today and next week too so not to excited about that but still happy that the rain is gone. Also we are moving our P-day to Monday so i will write another letter on Monday telling you everything that happened Friday Saturday and Sunday. So just to make it clear my p-day will now be the same time as everyone Else's in the world, on Monday's.

Oh yeah, Caleb passed his Baptismal interview and is going to be baptized this sunday!! Yeah happy day. Thats about all that happened this week because of the rain. Oh i almost for got this one, There is a member in the ward who is teaching me how to knit! I think its awesome cause i could knit my own stuff and everything if i learn good enough. okay thats all for reals.

I am excited to play ball for real tho only got 1 more year. Dad, i dont know who to send it too who do you think would like it i mean why not try all the utah schools and maybe Boise state? I dont know tho, anyone who you think it would matter too. I do care about your garden dad just not right now cause i'm in texas and cant eat anything out of it. Do you think Shelley will take 4A state this year? Is sugar just pitiful this year or is it just the coaching change throwing them off? Thanks for all the follow up on stuff dad. Hello y'all

So this week was one of funny experiences. Saturday night at 2 o'clock in the morning we were awakened by a pounding at our door, We both were like what is going on. So we went into the living room and looked out the peep hole and there was this girl at our door crying her eyes out and she was freaking out like having a panic attack and just not having a good time. We were kind of cautious about opening the door cause we didnt want some guy to be around the corner waiting to beat us up or something. So we waited for a little bit and then we opened it up and she was like i saw jesus on your door and i need help. We could totally smell a ton of Alcohol on her breath and we asked her what was wrong and she told us something then said that her sister lived here and was #731 and we are 831 so she thought that she was below us but the buildings aren't like that they are just the 8 hundred building so it was weird then some ladies came and asked us if there was a heavily intoxicated girl up there and we said yes and they she went with them. That was my crazy experience this week. Ha pretty funny huh. that's why i said that teen drinking is very bad.

Oh yeah i dont remember if a i told y'all or not but we have a date for the 12th of September for a baptism. Its nice to set some dates again and see the work move forward. Okay now on too you. Dillon its okay that you never write me anymore we can still be friends and I'll write you on your mission. Did you ever get my letter?? I hope it helped ya out. your awesome dude where do you want to go?? Pord man thats great that your finally out of the MTC make the work go forward and be awesome just like you are buddy. Mom thanks for the Package i loved it i am actually wearing one of the shirts that you sent me right now. I love everything in there. I'm trying to stay focused and everything and be as good as i can be. I have heared a lot about Glenn Beck this week so far. Some people think that he is good and others not so much. anyways what can ya do right people are so weird. How come dad said no to coaching? i thought he would have loved to do that he would have made sugar really good i think. Again mom thanks for the package and everything. Love ya mom! Dad i did get my Emv and i love it still. I'm glad that Jen likes it now too. Its good to know how much longer you have left we have a bout hte same amount of time left. Thats weird that your retiring tho. Would i still get half tuiton paid for if i went to a church school, even tho you are retired? Just a question i was thinking about, not to seriously but tossing around. Also did you ever get that Highlight film made?? I love you dad! A long long time ago...Well one year.

Hey Y'all!

Well what a week its been, We are going to set a baptismal date tonight with some overage kids which is really cool! This week has gone by super fast, well to be honest this year has gone by super fast. There have been some slow days and some days that i wonder where they went. All in all i am relatively happy with my first year as a missionary the sad thing is that i hear the second one goes by even faster. So this week we went on an exchange and i went to a different area and i ate dinner with Steve Danielson's sister!! Dad do remember Steve? His sister told me that he worked At BYU-Idaho and that he opened up a pineapple Grill in rexburg so i knew who he was it was really weird. It just goes to show ya how small the world really is! I have come to a conclusion that the world is even smaller if your a Mormon cause its almost guaranteed that you know somebody whose knows the same person, Its really weird.

Well more about my new area, umm its in the Hurst stake in Texas and we have almost the smallest area in the mission, its kinda ghetto but not really like there are poor people but not like killeen or fort worth. Elder Rindlisbacher is from Fresno and he actually went to school up in Idaho in 2007or 08 and he stayed there for one fall term. He is older than me in real life but he has been out on his mission for 3months less than me. He is a really funny guy he reminds me a lot of pord, Not in stature but in personality. So this is gonna be a great 6 weeks cause he has been here for 2 transfers already so i think that he will be gone after this one. Thats just my thoughts so dont quote me on it.

Anyways Mike umm well i have been in 5 areas and 4 zones and have had 9 companions. Its a lot of companions/areas/ Zones! Hola!

Well everyone i got transfered again. I'm now in Fossil Ridge and my address is 6960 N. beach Street # 831 Ft worth, Tx and i'm not sure of the Zip so you'l just have to guess 76137 sounds right but you might want to check with the post office. Well my companion is Elder Rindlisbacher and he is from Fresno Cailifornia. He has been here for 2 transfers already so i'm porbably gonna get another companion this transfer. Well thats about th extent of big thing that happened this week except that people who i konw are already going home its so weird seeing them leave. Other that that my week have been pretty normal.

So on too y'all. Pord man i wish i could have opened your letter thing but it didnt work i tried but i couldn't get it open i will try again next week tho and i hope that you thought that card was super funny cause i did too. Mike man i have a letter already written here for ya i just need to buy a stamp sorry i am so lame sauce but thats crazy that you were in yellowstone at least thats what i think you said. Well i will find a stamp today I promise. Hola Y'all!

Well this week has been adventurous, kind of anyways. So the thing that sticks out in my mind mostly this week is bike problems. Monday, We were at Walmart buying some spare tubes and when we walk out to leave Elder Wallis notices that he has a flat tire so we have to fix it right there at Wal-Mart and we don't have a pump so we have to ask to use one of there pumps. Tuesday, we riding along and about a 5 miles from home i get a flat tire, luckily there were some members who lived only lie .5 miles away so we walker or bikes over there and they gave us a ride home so i could patch my tire. So at home i patch my tire but as i'm pumping it up something happens and it Explodes like seriously blows like a 5inch hole in my brand new tube. So i had to put another tube on there. Wednesday, We had a good morning but after luch we just start riding and elder wallis' bike gear shattered so the only gear that worked on it was 6. The bad thing about this is his bike is like brand new so we had to take it back to Super target and the we went to Wal-mart again and bought a new bike. it was crazy! Today is running smooth tho were doing good. So that has been my week so far.

Also i find out if i get transfered or not this Saturday so Dad just hold back on the Emv till next thursday when you find out where i'm going. Bart is going to be baptized next Saturday tho so ooi am happy seeing the fruits of your labor is nice. Well anyways on to y'all Dillon man thanks so much for the e-mail it didnt say much but still appreiciated. How Chris doin?? Do y'all talk a lot or not too much? How about Colt do you ever see him? just a couple of questions that you can answer next week. Mike, Man thats Funny/Gross people are so weird. I havent quite hit it yet man i got about 2 weeks till i hit it its on the 26th. Its crazy how fast time has gone by, you'll be here soon enough man. Thats way awesome i've never done that, praying at a Community Gathering thats cool. Maybe you should learn some Japanese next so you can talk to the Japanese kids. Dad, Yes it is scorching down here haha. The work is going slow but going! Its good to hear that the little ones help you pick/eat those raspberries. Hello everybody!

Well August is here already! Where did July go? All well keep on keepin on, right? Well as the title reads ia am safe this week so far and didnt crash on my bike! Yeah i'm happy about that! Also this week was President Sagers first Zone Conference, and it was really good. We talked about the Atonement pretty much the whole time, so it was awesome. He is really smart and knows a lot about stuff. We also watched something called the District 2. It was about some missionaries in San Diego, and John Hepworth was on it and it was so trippy i didnt know what to think. I guess that they were trained or something in a specific way and they are gonna start teaching us off that. It was really cool. Also at this Zone Conference we got new phones and they are pretty cool actually they aren't really that cool but really cool for a missionary. So the ZC was a success and i liked iot a lot.

On a different note not so spirtitual, last week we had a really cool P-Day activity, we fenced! I know what your thinking but it was way fun and we had a tourney and i Won! Which was even cooler. I'm probably going to take it in College. Its a lot of Defensive Slides so it felt really natural. That was way fun. Also Dad i was just wondering if i could get some more Emv before Transfers which happen in about 2 weeks. So if possible thanks. Back to being spiritual we had two really good lessons this week with new gators and they both will be at church this week! Their names are Harold and Lorelei. They really are great people and they both love the Missionaries! So this might be premature but i think that they will get Baptized before October. anyways that was my week and i'm sure there is more but i cant think of any so on to you guys.

Hola mi Familia/amigos!

So this week has been a blast! We moved up Bart's date to the 14th and had our first interviews with President Sagers and i wrecked again on my Bike!! So those are the main stories from this week we met with Bart last Friday and we talked too him and he was fine moving up the date and he was excited about it. President Sagers is awesome and so is his wife. She actually grew up in St. Anthony and knows coach Miller and his brother. Also she knows where fun farm bridge is and thinks that i am crazy for jumping off of it. So we connect cause of that. Also Yesterday exactly a week from the last accident i ate it while coming home for dinner again. This one tho is a little bit more explainable, I was going around a corner and my front tire slipped out from under me and i skidded my hand on the ground and cut i up on both sides. It was awesome and of course Elder Wallis was laughing again it was kind of delayed but he still laughed. Oh yeah, before that tho while we were tracting we talked to this one lady and her son and she was all like i know your wrong your adding to the scriptures and blah blah blah and i just said well ma'am just read it and she said No but her son said sure i'll read it so we gave it too him and left on a good note. We decided that she was probably gonna kill him for it but he did the right thing. So that was my week it was pretty fun and kinda painful but still fun.

Brett man i hope that you get too stay so you can see those baptisms that would be awesome. Pord man i love you to keep working there is a card for you in the mail. Mom, thanks for the e-mail and the updates and everything i think that you guys had some fun in St, George. It sounds like it anyways. It is weird that they got married its even weirder that danielle and Dustin are getting married and trenton and Macall are getting married saturday. I love you mom and will send ya a letter. Misty thanks for the e-mail i really love hearin from ya! Abe sounds very brave to me, and that is funny he seems really cute i wish i had some pics of him (wink wink). Hey y'all!

Well this week has been really fun and exciting. Me and Elder Wallis have been workin really hard. A funny story, Yesterday while we were out contacting we went to walmart cause its really hot outside and we went inside to "shop" actually we just talked to people the whole time and didin't buy anything. The last guy we talked to tho was this LA guy who hasnt been to church in like 25-30 years and we talked with him for like 15-20 minutes just sittin there chatting, and he said thay he would try out the church in Texas cause we told him the people were really nice. The best part of the story tho is as we were leaving the Wal-mart parking lot I was just riding my bike just goin along and out of nowhere i just filp over my bike!! I flipped hit my head and slammed my shoulder scraped my hands up it was crazy and i didnt realize thie then but my pant got ripped :( but i am doing fine now just a little bit sore and there is a sister who is fixing my pants so i am excited about that. Also becasue Sacrifice brings forth blessings and i sacrificed my body we set a Baptismal date with a Really awesome guy named Bart! Its set for the 21st of August but we are planning on moving it up to the 7th or the 14th! Bart has been meeting with the missionaries for abour 6-7 months now so its pretty awesome!! Other than those 2 things its been life as usual, oh i also went and saw the Dodges and they said that they loved you mom and they said that you cried right after they introduced themselves

Mom i think your awesome too even if you missed last week its okay. I still Love you so dont worry, we can still be firends. haha. Thanks for the E-mail mom i really liked this one it was a good one. I'm glad that you are trying to be better but i would except you anyway you were so just know that. Brett man i am not AP, yet. haha but its gettin real hot over here too me it feels like 1000 but it was only 106 with heat index. So not as hot as where you are but still pretty hot! Hey everyone!

This week has been a blast! We have had a good time just ridin our bikes everywhere and tryin not to die in the heat! Its really fun talking to people while your drenched in Sweat and dripping it on there front porch they feel really bad for ya and they give you a Gatorade or a Water and your lovin life because of it. Elder Wallis is doing really good he doesn't like riding bikes but he is doing it anyways! He knows A lot of the same people that i do from Salmon, he knows Nathan Stokes and nooner and Mark and Riley and he knows the Infangers. So we talk about those guys all the time its fun. This week doesn't have any really big stories or anything like that. Yesterday tho we went and biked to the top of our area not to terribly far but it was so hot and we stayed out till like 3:30 in it and got a little bit red. I think that its kinda funny that i don't burn here like i do back home i thinking its cause the Sun is about 3000 feet farther away but ya know i could be wrong. But we had a really good week since Thursday... I think that we should have a couple of dates before the end of this month and should baptize in August!

Anyways, Dill man thanks for the E-mail and i'm excited for that letter so i can read what you wrote to me and i just want ya to know that your awesome and that you can be a way good missionary! I love ya bro you gotta keep the faith cause there are some struggles going on w/ our friends. Dad thanks for the E-mail i'm glad that you ran cause i almost missed ya. Congrats on the whole being done for about a month thing. You only have 2-3 more Semesters left, thats gonna be weird for ya your not gonna know what to do with yourself. Well, a district leader doesnt do much he basically give a couple trainings a transfer too his district and he helps where needed and he takes numbers for mid-weeks and for end-weeks. Thats it but mostly i am still just a missionary nothing really has changed for me. The bike is awesome i dont know what to do in a car anymore probably. Thanks for the Emv i got it just fine and i was worried about that cause i thought that i put in the wrong address so i am glad that it is a smart thingy. Thats crazy about that fire thing. I am glad that jen is makin good money and stuff you guys wil have fun with her when she comes home. Well papa i love you thanks for the e-mail. Jill thanks for the e-mail but you didnt answer the question so you lose and you do to dad. Im glad your Baby is doing okay and i hope that its stays strong but i am in the middle of writing you a letter so i will save my comments for that. Mike my main Elder man! A new companion

Howdy howdy!

Well this week has really flown by! I cant believe that it is thursday already. So this week was fun we had transfers and i got a new companion (like that wasnt expected) His name is Elder Wallis, and he is from May, Idaho. Its in the valley between Salmon and Challis. He lived really in the middle of nowhere and he is pretty cool tho so far. Mom i am so glad that the Dodges made it over there and got to say hi and everything its so sweet! They are a really cool family and there daughter just went on a mission to somewhere that i cant htink of right now but she really left like a month ago. So i think that they really enjoyed seeing you guys. But anyways i am also a district leader now. Thats the only other really cool thing that happened this week.

Texas has cooled down a bit and started to rain like crazy. The rain is awesome tho cause it breaks the humidity so it cools down a lot. Oh, also in the transfer i lost thee car so back to riding the bike a lot in the nice texas Summer! Woo-hoo i'm so excited to melt! I really enjoy the bike now tho after this trasfer it will be six straight months on a bike for me : ) so i am really getting used to it. My legs are really tough now so i cant ride my bike all day if i had too. This is elder wallis's first transfer ona bike he has only been out for 2 transfers/ 3 months. Its gonna be kinda interesting to see how he does in the Texas heat. The new mission president is doing great he says its real hot, i havent like personally met with him but he seems to be doing good.

The fourth was fun we tracted from about 5-630 and got some peppers that were stuffed with chicken cheese and onions and they were so good! The lady wasnt interested but she was nice. Then we went to a patriotic Fireside and i learned some cool thing about the constitution it was cool but that was my week. So Jax thanks for the Email man its like my sister came back from the dead! haha jk sis i still love you so dont worry about it but in my book tyhing from the fam you said you send the best packages and i think mom is definately winning in that catergory. But that race sounds like it was a long one, and i dont think you could ever beat me in 1 on 1 ever again i out weigh you now so you have no more leverage in the post! Ha well i love you sis and jake too and jared and lexi! Hey jocey thanks for the Info and thanks for everything keep incouraging pord to stay out there tell him it gets better! Hey y'all!

Well another week another e-mail. This week was fun we have met our new Mission President and shook his hand. It wasn't a personal thing it was just a meeting with about 40-50 missionaries. President Thurston is now home i'm betting. President Sagers and his wife and two of their kids are now all in Texas. Did you two, mom and dad, go and meet him?? The meeting we had was kind of different in that he wasn't as excited as President Thurston was normally. He is a really smart guy in that he knows the scripts backward and forward he taught CES(institute) for like 23 years. Hes a great guy so I'm excited for the next 14 or so months i get to learn from him. As for the missionary work we have found people to teach now. We have been doing some good work this whole transfer we have averaged as a zone 10.5 Member Present Lessons and 160 Invitations to learn which is pretty good.

This week is also transfer calls! I've been in Highland Village for 6 weeks now its so weird how time just flies by. I cant believe it sometimes that i have been gone for 10+ months now its so weird. Whats even weirder is that Logan is getting Married! All I can say is its about time! Mom i got my package and thank you! Wow there was a lot of stuff in it! I liked it and i am keeping it from melting by refrigerating it. For the 4th i think i will be going to church and then after that tracting and then back to the church for a fireside that is supposed to be really interesting. Tell Aliyah "Hi" for me and that evebtually her mom will find out what happens at Grandma's house ha. Dad i'm glad that Mom is sticking to her person trainer i mean i remember when you tried this before and it didnt really work cause you were dad and its kinda like when you were my coach. Anyways, you are finally getting into the trend of it all. What kind of phone is it? I'm jealous only for the fact that i have to wait to get a cool phone for 14 more months. I'm doing good on MonaVie but i would like some Emv and the address is 210 twin oaks dr, double oak tx 75077. You can send it to that address and i guess anything else you want to send too. Thats good that T is have a good time maybe you could get me his address so i can send him a letter. Do you know which mission Jordon went to?? I think that i would be cool to have his address to if anyone could find it, Jocelyn?? Well dad i hope that you figuer out your phone and stuff.

Dillon, man i am sorry your life is boring just try and stay busy cause idleness is the Devils Playtime. You should just try as hard as you can to finish them papers and get gone my friend jusy remember that it only happens once to go on a mission and if you miss out you wont have another chance to be a teenage kid preaching the gospel! Well man i will write ya a letter with more stuff. Mike man thats crazy, there was a spanish missionary in my first area who ahd like the same thing except that she lived in the same place. Misty thanks for the letter i am glad to hear that everybody is doing well and learing how to swim i was looking at some puictures yesterday and was like man those three are gonna kill me when i get off the plane i'm gonna get taken to the ground! which probably will happen but i will try and get tougher so they cant. As for the program umm i dont have access to a gym or really any workout anything so i could do much, But i have just lifted hard and havent run as much as i did back home so the weight stuck to my body and i have turned into muscle. thats really all that i have done but i love you Misty thanks for the letter i lve y'all.

Hey all y'all fellers!

That is a Texan greeting right there! Ha well this week has been awesome for me and Elder Barney we had two baptisms this week! I said that last week but it happened and now they are officially baptized, so its still big news! The Highland Village area is just seeing so many good things. I think that in July there will be some more baptisms as well and this place has only had 5 baptisms the past 2 years combined and so far in 2010 they have 5 with more to come so this area is hitting and an all time high.

Texas is really hot now as you saw in the title the thermometer in our little Mazda said 112 Degrees!! It wasnt actually that hot but it felt hot. The car was in the sun so it was reading about 9-11 degrees too hot so it was only 100 ha. I am starting to like Highland Village a lot the members are opening up and actually being people not just spiritual robots who wont talk to us about anything except the scriptures. Not a terrible thing but its nice to be able to have a normal conversation with someone about normal life. The work here is progressing and going great things are just a little bit harder than down in Killeen. Rich people are kinda stuck in there ways. The scripture about it being easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than a rich guy to get into heaven... Kinda true but i wont judge to harshly. Just one more story that happened on Tuesday: We went out to dinner w/ our exchange and right before we sat down to eat some guy came up to us he was being nice and asked us what we believed and stuff he eventually pulled up a chair and we had about a 20-30 minute discussion and he left with a book of mormon and 3 pamphlets he doesnt live in our area or even our mission for that matter so i guess i wont know what happens to him for a while. Also the water got turned off at the Mcintyres so we slept at our Zone leadrers apartment last night it was fun. The water got turned off because their pool overflow stopper thing wasnt working so they had to turn it off to save the house and some cash. It was all good tho. Well now to some of your questions/ Concerns: Brett, man that sucks i know how ya feel man when i got trasfered out of my greenie area we had 2 dates and 3 more potentials so man i feel for ya that sucks. You could ask your pres to let ya go back for it? In our mission if its your first or last one you can go back so it wouldnt hurt to try that anyways. Good luck in your new area! Aunt Helen! I'm actually not by Houston or the Gulf but everyone here is buzzin about it and i have seen some pictures about it but i havent jumped in it yet. Hey Y'all!

Happy Fathers Day Dad! This is your 34th Fathers day is that weird?? I didn't realize until just barely that we have 2 baptism's on y'alls Anniversary. I will now remember when your anniversary is haha. I cant believe that abe is already 1 year old that means that alex had her b-day too huh? Well too both of them happy b-day! This week nothing momentious happened except for the two baptism's were going to have this saturday. today we actually helped a lady move and it took us from 1-3 so thats why my email is so late today but it was really cool. Her boyfriend wasn't a good guy and she wanted to move out and she called one of her "christian" friends who turned out to be mormon and she called us asked if we could help and of course we said yes. It was really cool and she was really sweet a non-member but i think she will get baptized. Not much else happened, we were the 9th companionship out of the whole mission last week i guess that is pretty cool right?

Well brett man it suonds like your area is doing bomb thats way awesome about your dates for the 26th and the 3rd. Its way cool yeah i got your letter and i wrote you back, keep up the good work man and play hard but work harder haha your awesome man. Mike i am so gonna send you that letter now so just expect it from me. Keep on truckin man and i know thats so weird that i will hit a year next transfer, you'll be there soon enough. June 10: Mui caliente en Tejas!!

Hello hello everybody!

Well this week sure has gone by super fast, i cant believe that i am already sending another E-mail. Well some cool stuff has happened since last Thursday, Monica (Marissa's Mom) has moved her baptismal date from the 10th of August to the 19th of June!! So her and her daughter will both be getting baptized on June 19th next Saturday! Its really cool, also we got a car to drive around for a while yeah I'm so happy its not permanent and we only get 500 miles a month so we cant really drive that much but its enough to be enjoyable! The car is a 2007 Chevy Malibu and its white and it goes pretty quick from what i have experienced so far. Anyways the title of the E-mail is true its getting hot here like super hot it hit 100 last week so yeah i miss the nice cool Rexburg weather its sad to say but its true. For those of you who say that you would switch me you wouldn't want to stay here for one more day after one day in the 100 degree weather. I felt like melting that day this was before we got the car so we were sweating it out on a bike and man was it hot!

Texas is fun tho i am enjoying myself here Highland Village has some really cool people. Also another cool thing that happened this week was that we had President Thurston's Last Zone Conference. It was a really good one i enjoyed it a lot. The Trainings given were really good. Also President Sagers comes here on the 28th of June. Crazy! Its coming really fast and its gonna be really weird when it happens I think. Speaking of that Mom and Dad did you guys happen to see him? If yes, how did it go? Dad you should ask Rick if he remembers a family named the Hansen's who lived in Oklahoma his First name is Neil so if you could he wanted to know cause he knows Rick and Spencer. Mom my address i already told you just send it to there its really close by so I will get it like one day later than i would if you just sent it too me. I cant really think of anything that i need specifically. Elder Barney's first name is Samuel (Sam). Mom even with Colton gone i don't think you will ever be empty nesters I mean Jordon will come over Sean probably will come over not to mention all of the College kids like Scott who will keep coming over. So, you will never be an empty nester ha. I love you mom thanks for the E-mail i appreciate it! Dad thanks for both the letter and the E-mail i recieved both of them, your letter on tuesday and e-mail today! We always seem to have some kind of car trouble dont we? Thats to bad about the cars and your too nice to let mom drive your CTS. Just kidding i think that your just nice enough. I hope that everything keeps goin up in your Buisness and i hope that you can retire comfortably when i get home or even before, that would be cool. I feel kinda sorry for you having to mow darrins lawn but just a little bit haha. Speakig of college tuition did you ever get a chance to go too coach miller and talk to him about the game film at all?? Mike thanks io am trying and my comp has a red spanish book the same one you have and i am trying to get him to give it to me so then i can really learn some Espanole. It is weird that you have been out for almost 6 months!! I have been out 7 transfers man so weird but before ya know it you will be at 7 and i will be at 10 thats creepy. but i am running out of time and i have to say a few more thing but thanks Elder Dayley for the email. Dillon thats good that your moving along you should probably tell her tho she might want to know when one day your gone and cant call her or email or anything that might be important. Hey aliyah i hope you read this cause i am wishing you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!Love you Leah!

Well this week has been a real a blast. We set a date for the 19th of June with a girl (and maybe her mom) Who has been investigating for about 3-4 months now. They are a really cool family there names are Marissa and Monica Tagleary(Tag-lee-air-ee). Also we are having a blast riding our bikes around. Which reminds me, While me and Elder Barney were out Tracting we stopped by a Part Member family and we were sitting there talking to them and outta nowhere 3 crazy girls walk by and casually start too pick up our bikes like its no big deal. I look at em and I'm like "hey whoa there chica" and they tried to tell us that they were their bike and we just like umm no, they were so weird but it was a funny experience tho to tell you. Another Bike thing that happened too us this week well actually yesterday we were riding our bikes back too the church for an exchange and it started Raining and then it rained some more and by the time we got to the church we were thoroughly soaked and we had too go right then so we were like okay its your car. It was really refreshing tho i enjoyed it.

Lewisville is a really cool place i like it a lot so far the members are very missionary minded like extremely its really awesome. Mom our teaching pool is alright we have enough people to teach but we could use some new faces and we are trying hard we have a good time tracting tho Elder Barney is and Introvert and i am a very Extrovert person so I am the loud one and he is the quite one we balance out each other very well. My shirts are fine no matter what they look like if i have them on they look good Elder Barney lives umm you know where the road forks up millhollow his house is the one on the right corner right next to 2nd S.

Mike thanks for that email i really appreciate that its nice to hear that. Your an inspiration for me as well, so you best keep on truckin man. Te quero amigo. Brett I got you letter and i really like it buddy you sound like a missionary already ha well you should you are in the field. So how did the 5 NI go are you still teachin them?? Hey Y'all!

Okay well first off HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!! Your birthday was my Month day so its like we have the same birthday. Well now I am in a place called Highland Village and i am lovin life. Its in the Lewisville Zone or stake whatever you wanna call it. My Companion is Elder Barney he is from REXBURG he said that he lives behind the hospital kind of by our house. We live with Members and there house is pretty nice its way cool too. I haven't really met the whole family yet. We live in a pink little loft thing on the back side of there house. The Mcintires is there name or something like that. Our area is another bike area so yeah for me nice and hott during the summer. This area is really really rich like everybody is loaded we went to two peoples houses last night and their homes were big. This is quite the change from Killeen there are no ghetto's, no big rims, and no Army folk either. I have a feeling tho that we are gonna have a lot of fun this transfer. Thats about the only change in my life now. Jill did you ever live with members???

Brett man i cant wait for your letter my area is doing well as far as i know i think that we could have 4 baptisms this transfer. We have 2 dates already but they are pretty far off so we are going to move them up tonight so yeah and 2 for miracles. Hotlanta sounds pretty Hot tho i feel for ya i dont know how hot it is here i dont wanna know. Pord i remember that ride it was fun when we did it i enjoyed it a lot. Do you guys ride down poleline? Hola mi Familia! Y Mi Amigos!

Okay well this week has been a blast!! Me and Elder Bagley have biked a ton we went too the most Northern tip of our area and then the next day we went to the most southern tip it was awesome yesterday we biked about 19+ Miles wow right?! Also we finally Baptized Erik it took us a while but we did it and ha was also confirmed because we have Stake Conference this weekend so we decided to do it that day instead it was really cool. Elder Bagley got to do both of them it was his first real convert so it was even better that way. It was great to get all of your Letters its always good to hear about all y'all it makes me feel loved.

Sean i know you can do it buddy your awesome its just a test you can make it back out people need to feel of your spirit so get better and Just Do It. Pord i sent you a letter today cause i kinda didnt have any stamps until today so sorry it took it a while but its comin i promise and it kind of is a crappy letter so i am writing another one today so dont be disappointed with the first one i was in a rush. I hope i set a good example for ya i am doing better now than i was before. Congrats on Graduation Jocey hope it is/was fun. Mike Colorado es mui Malo Tejas is Mucho Mejor Y Tejas es Mucho Bueno!! Hey everyone, (Especially Dillon)

Well guys my week has been good i'm lovin Texas still and just livin my life like a missionary! This weekend we are baptizing Erik, well technically Elder Bagley is but thats besides the point. We also have a baptismal date for the 30th of May with a guy named Dennis Reggan he needs the gospel in his life and is really excited to get baptized! Hola everyone,

Hey Family Friends and others! Okay well my week has been really good we've been talking to people & just enjoying it. It was so hot yesterday it was like 96 with 55% humidity. I was so sweaty it was nasty. I have a camelback that i got from an investigator and its a life saver. I think i am more hydrated then i have ever been in my life. I am lovin Texas and just life in general its weird to think about what i did before this i feel like i have been a missionary my whole life. Its crazy like i cant even fathom "Real Life". You guys have to live in it everyday.

By the way Happy Birthday to DAD and Misty and Belated to Jaclyn (i think)!!! Also Happy Mothers day MOM! Other than the heat my life has been pretty much the same as always. I guess 6 o'clock my time will be okay for the call home. I forget that you guys now have late church cause when i left it was at 11 which is what my church is at also. Well i told you guys that i was getting bigger and nobody believed me >: ( I have found time in between missionary efforts to work out and get bigger just like Coach Parish told me to do so i can play Ball when i get home : ) I haven't gotten mom's package yet and i am waiting for it patiently. Somthing that i would like if you can find it anywhere would be Bag Pipe hymns or classical Bag Pipe music. Its a good change up from regular Motab and piano's. So thats my one request this week i think that that would be really cool but dont just send that wait till you want to send me more stuff i can wait for that. Hey y'all well my life is going good! Its crazy its already May well basically. Hmm, not much has happened this week. We went to zone conference yesterday and it was president thurston's second to last one he only has 1 more! President Saggers comes in about two months. Wow, thats weird its exciting but weird. So thats about the only thing new down here.

Sean man you are awesome i cant wait to see ya again man your gonna be an amazing missionary. Your fire is burning right now and never let it go out okay?! You need to show spain what sugar city idaho is all about! Ha Well at least what Elder Pope is about. I cant believe your time is up and your going out already. Time will fly by buddy so make it worth it. Brett man it was good to hear from ya i cant wait for you to go to georgia and get to talk to real people the TA does suck a little bit but its get better with time i promise. Your testimony will grow stronger out there and it will also be challenged so keep it up and be strong with it. Same with you sean.

Misty it was great to hear from you i don't know what to do for the summer just keep them entertained ha easier said than done huh. Hey Y'all!

Okay well my week has been awesome so far and we are setting dates and just having a good time with it all! On may 16th a Lady named Samara Hall is getting baptized and she has been investigating since November and she just decided that she is ready and she had some concerns and we answered them and she is excited to feel the spirit and be baptized. Also Erik's date got moved to the 2nd of May because he got called into CQ (Army term that i know nothing about) so he has to wait one more week, but he will be baptized.

Mom it was good to hear from ya i am glad that you were able to help Brett out and are helpping Sean, Chris, Jordon, Dillon and Colton get out here and do there work. You guys rock and are so great to my friends they really should have been nicer to ya, haha. I will print some pictures out today and send them with the tape thingy. Okay? Also thanks for the Mona vie mom and Dad its a good one i like it.

Brett i hope your likin the MTC you will like the field even more its really better out here cause you get used to it and you start to love it. Your such a good example to everyone budy you just keep on truckin okay i know you wont read this for a week but you can make it dude! I mean Elder you can make it, haha. Mike i am not jealous of your time in the MTC just so ya know but i am jealous of your spanish speaking ability now. Thats way awesome that your baptizing people you will find a lot of sucess with Hispanics out there cause they are super humble. Good luck man you will do awesome!

We get a fair amount of refferals and we do get a lot of cold contacts as well i think that only like 3-4 people i have baptized we actually knocked into most of them are refferals cause thats when people are interested. Me and elder bagley are doing good he is from kearns/ West jordan, he doesnt know the batemans or the wolfgrahms, i already asked him. And yes we get along. P-day we normally get together and do some activity like basketball or football then we e-mail shop and write letters or whatever we want really. P-days are awesome they are a milestone each week.

Hello,

Well transfers are come and Elder Spear is gone . I am staying in Killeen and my new Companion is Elder Bagley. He is from south Salt lake i cant remember the name of the school or town were he is from i have never heard of it before. We have a baptism on the 25th of april with a man named Erik Miller he is an awesome person he actually called us and asked to take the lessons his girlfriend is a member and she got him interested and he is awesome he quite smoking and he has been doing it since he wa 12 and he is 29 so its way cool.

I am just loving life in the dirty south as we call it down here i love it. I cant believe i am going to hit my 8 and 9 month marks this transfer its insane i havent been gone that long, have I? The work is going great down here and i had an awesome experiance the other day actually tuesday a lady who i baptized in temple daughter got baptized the other day it just shows me that i am doing something so important for families and soon so will Colton and Brett are both so awesome. Sean isnt too far out away either and neither is Chris only 13 days Chris! Wow you guys are all going to love it just have fun with it dont be such a stickler that you kill all the fun just have fun and be yourselves with people they dont want a robot they want you!!!! Okay that was my rant for the day.

Colton man your gonna love life in jersey there is a pizza place here that sells NJ pizza and its the bomb thats gonna rock! Your so lucky you get a cool Easterner accent i have a slow southern drawl about me now its weird and i get to call home on the 9th of may I am so jealous of you getting to be a greenie man you ahve life easy that first transfer!!!

Brett man i feel your pain you gonna be sweatinm up a storm juts like me except your already brown and i am a white kid. I do ball every now and then i feel bigger and everyone in temple said i look taller and bigger and older so i am finally maturing yay : ) !!! I havent lost all of it some fo my speed but i am a better driver now i think cause i am bigger and not afraid of people anymore haha! Also its only 6 days now ohh man your so close good luck bro you will get an email next week even tho you cant check it. Pord man that sucks about kiora man 5 ribs ouchy that is too bad. Mom, I am really happy i am lovin life in texas its the bomb my allergies are okay there the same way as they were back home so yeah, I dont need clothes they still fit my neck is way to big but i can make it through i am doing great in that area. The Tanner thing is sad and he will be getting a letter from me dont worry i have talked top a lot of people who have past stuff and i know that the attonment is reall and he can feel good again he just has to know that for himself i will tell him. I cant believe my friends are all leaving its so awesome just thinking about high school and how things were its so awesome how the attonement works. Its so awesome.

Hello Everyone,

Well this is board week so i find out what i'm doing on saturday! It an exciting/ Stressful time. Its crazy that those six weeks have just flown by. I am on my 6th transfer starting next week thats so crazy i cant believe it my 8th one is my year mark. Texas is getting so hot i cant believe it people say that it gets up too 110 here with humidity so you can bet i am going to be baked i think the hottest weather i have ever even been in is 102 in Vegas and i was dieing. You guys already know that its hot in texas your like 2 hours south of me thats weird. Sean i wish i could see you too but i would get my head ripped off, and i would be super home sick for the next year and a half. Hows the spanish coming amigo? I am trying to learn it but i dont have a lot of time to do it so i am learning on the fly. I can kind of do a door approach, kind of. Are you way excited man?? I am excited for ya! 30 more days man its comin quick. I'll write ya a letter okay!

Well mom i will buy another card i still have one but i will buy another one just incase. I have been taking pictures so dont worry about it they're there i just cant send em all home cause i dont have another card. Email Update: Heating up Killeen

Hello guys!

Well this week has gone by super fast and time this transfer is slipping away me and Elder spear have been together for 5 p-days now, Crazy! We have had a lot of tracting this week and it is mui caliente (really hot)!! I have some really nice tan lines on my arms its sad how white i was i am the darkest i have ever been i think. Its nuts how being outside makes you tan who would have thought that?? I am just kidding i am not that stupid. Life in Killeen is going pretty well i am enjoying it except for the heat its like 85 degrees and i am dieing and people are telling me that it gets to like 100+ like all summer here so yeah if i die thats what happened i melted in texas. Ha that is gonna be super hot.

Dad yeah i do ride my bike everywhere it kinda is getting easier just like you said a blessing in disguise and i am noticing my legs getting bigger i have the classic walker thighs now big and tuff! Actually i am noticing that my pants and stuff are getting tighter idk if that is a good thing but maybe? If i dunk it i dont care how big my legs are. Missionary work is going good down here there are people here just waiting to here the truth its so awesome the things that we know compared to the rest of the world. Its cool how we know so much more about the bible than other people cause we can use more than one reference to understand it all. I am also glad that DUKE is going to beat WV and take the whole thing. I cant believe how long i have been watching them and when i come out here is when they last the longest. Its okay i forgive them they can win it in 2 years too so i can see that as well. Are you two feeling the empty nester stage of life now cause nobody comes to hang out anymore. Hola mi amigos!

Okay so i wish i could speak spanish all i can do is practice, right? Well, guys my week was awesome i had a lot of fun with Elder Spear the work in killeen is speeding up. We're building our teaching pool a lot and people are progressing its really cool. Its General Conference time in the mission and i am excited thats weird for me to say that cause i dreaded conference back home it was really hard to sit through it all, it still is cause i hate sitting still but i now enjoy it so its awesome. People dont realize how blessed they can be by just watching it so thats what we are doing is inviting people to come to the church and watch it.

Mom i am glad that you stick up for my team thanks nobody else would so thank you i hope they win it all just to rub it in. My eye is fine nothing to worry about its all better now i got some drops and they worked out fine. Tell Dave that its okay we're over each other well i am over her anyways i dont know if she is over me i mean how is that even possible? Elder spear is from Nyssa Oregon its a small town a mile from the Idaho Border. I will write her today what happened?? Email Update: Another week, 2 more baptisms

Hey Everyone!

Well my week has been awesome i have talked to some really cool people. We have a baptism this Sunday with a family named the Ayer's they are sweet Deborah and Audrey and soon her husband Dave. They are really cool. She is black and her daughter is half black and they are awesome, she actually asked Elder Spear how she could take classes to get baptized she is awesome. So on Sunday they are getting baptized and we area also meeting with another couple named Matt & April they are awesome as well they have a date for the 4th of April and we should be setting another date before the end of the week. I am loving life in Killeen Elder Spear is a really good missionary i like him a lot. We are doing awesome solid work the people we teach really do want to gain knowledge its so awesome talking to people like that.

Mom i did get a bike it only cost me 30 bucks too it was another missionaries bike and he went home and i got it so were good there i like it too. I think that the blog thing would be an awesome idea are you guys going to go with Brett through the temple too?? I think you should tell him i will be there in spirit. Also the guy who is huge is a recent convert in the burleson ward named chris jalali, he is an amazing guy he has liver cancer but is so positive. I love his family they have a kid named ayden (A-den) i dont know how to spell it so that will suffice. I am not sure what people your talking about i forgot what picture i sent home sorry.

Well the work is goin awesome i am so glad that things are good back home and i did get your package and i love the pictures and everything else it was awesome. I also got Your package too Brooke i Loved it a ton i mean a lot a lot. Ha

umm Jill i liked your pictures they were classy ha you look awesome in green ha but i didnt do much for st. Patrick's day i had a zone conference yesterday so i didnt do much of anything yesterday it was kinda boring about 5 hours of driving but i did get top see a movie called the Go-getter its about a guy named william (billy) Peck its cool you should look for it. I know you'll like it i did anyways and there are a lot of eternal principles behind it too. Also i dont like Pentecostal people they believe that you have to speak in tongues to receive the holy Ghost its so ridiculous. The book of acts is the cause for so many different denominations taking just one instance to prove something

thats why the book of mormon is so essential Because it is something else we can look to for guidence on those stupid subjects that people dont understand at all it bugs me so bad but i get through the days so i am okay. Well Brett man my companion was born in georgia in atlanta thats so awesome man your so lucky you get to go to the bible belt as well you'll have to know the scriptures and you and colt get to be in the MTC together thats ridiculous ha you two better be in the same building thats would be so cool i am super jealous of you guys. Man just remember to always keep your head up its not really that bad you and about 6 or 8 other 19 year olds chillin in a big building its a lot of fun. Good luck man your gonna be an awesome missionary its so exciting now everyone basically will be out in the field before we know it.

Okay so mom i dont know where you sent my package. If you sent it to Joshua i will get it on tuesday wif you sent it to the office i will get it on tuesday. So basically i will get it on tuesday. Okay well i am serving with Elder Spear he is an awesome elder from Oregon he lives like a mile outside of idaho. He has been out for almost 2 months now i am follow up training is what its called i am lovin it down here so far except i have to buy a bike so i need some money asap so i can buy one i dont know how much they are just put in as much as you think i will need to buy it. Elder Spear is a really great we are going to have a ton of fun. Its starting to get hot here now its like 70 today i am going to die of a heat stroke ha just kidding but really i probably will cause its going to be super hot.

Well mom thats sweet that Everybody is getting there calls i cant wait to here where brett is going its gonna be really awesome anywhere he goes. There isnt really much to report from down here i am just excited to get those pictures and see snow and y'all again. Hey Everyone!

Hey Family, well first off thanks for the letters and the packages and everything. The Baptism went great he is an amazing guy i like him a lot he told me to tell y'all thanks for being so good to me, and letting me come down here and help him. Well this week has really flown by and transfers are this saturday so i dont know if i'll be here next week we'll have to wait and see its weird how fast things have gone by.

So jen how is home and where is Landen? I miss watching those two have there fun i cant wait to see them be big enough to matbe actually hurt me haha. Jen i dont think i have gotten it yet but at least there is something to look forward too now ha and i have mail coming. You should ask those missionaries if they would like to come eat withoyou sometime missionaries love that. Also your right about the differences int he wards down here and up there they are a lot closer down here and like you said they have to be a family or the worldly preasures eventually drag you away homet eaching is really bad here too caue ther are so many less actives.

Mom the cookie dough rocked i made some of it into cookies and the rest into my stomache yumm! Ha well the work is really starting to pick up here our teaching pool is grownig very rapidly. We talked to 200 people last week and had really good numbers, i like numbers a lot. Elder boden and i have been doing really well and we are having a lot of fun too. Being a missionary is a lot of fun i am starting to really like it and have sucess too. I am going to send the tape player back and it will have my voice on it and i like it it was weird to hear y'alls voices. Me and Boden have been companions for about 6 weeks now mom but we have had fun and i like him. I can use the scripture case and i like it a lot it feels just like a ball ha it helps me cope. I didnt buy a bike i dont think i will if i dont go to a bike area soon cause it wouldnt be worth it too me to spend a lot of money and only have it for one year or something like that. Mom you should ask the missionaries who cover our ward if they would like to come eat food with you too.

Dad thats sad to hear well i guess that coach miller never learns that you dont slow down you push it at em when they're down. Who told that he said that?? He said the same thing when we played buhl my junior year. All well life goes on it sucks a little bit more but it does go on. Speaking of basketball i was wondering if maybe after things settle down with coach miller and everything maybe you could ask him to make you a copy of all my games and make a highlight film and send it to different places and see if they think i am good or not cause i would like to know what others think about me cause if they think i am good i will try and go big when i get home. So thats good to hear about your buisness i hope things work out and everything is better and that you can make it big time. How did the house turn out? you should send me pictures and I WOULD LIKE PICTURES FROM HOME SOMETIME SOON, Thanks. Also if you Could Get Some Talks or EFY stuff that would be cool too.

Misty thanks for the letter its crazy that abe is already that big and Tell goose to talk in french on the recoder thing so i can hear her and liayh too i want to hear her spanish so i can learn some. The Old testament is weird i think i mean its cool but really weird ha there are good things in there like moses and Elisha killignthe priest of baal and everything but some of it is weird. I personally like the story about uriah in 2 samule its a good one chapter 11 i think he is a very honest man and is a very good example.

Hey y'all!

Well it souunds like snow is falling for everyone even the people in Texas are getting snow i mean there is relativly a lot of snow here but i love it cause i miss snow a lot. Well mom i think i get to see Uncle Bill as far as i know i get too, The teaching pool isn't too big here but were having a lot of success and the medicine works as well as it always has which means i still have a stuffy nose. my face is fine i eat a lot of food i am getting bigger so i hav got to be doing something. Dad the weight as far as i know is sticking to me really well and i dont know what DA means so idk. But i am tough not fat i have bigger arms and a bigger chest then ever as well i am loving getting bigger. I cant believe Sugar lost too salmon and Shelley gosh they need to step it up big time. Also tell Caleb to be above the radar take control when his team is losing. I hope that trey goes somewhere for football he is that good. Brett, i miss those denny runs really bad i enjoyed them as lot ha well bro i do get to bed on time most of the time and i get up on time its the whole staying awake the rest of the day thats the hard part. Pord i cant think of anything i need excpet a real letter from ya and i want some pictures from everyone who reads this E-mail. So if you can make that happen that would be nice. But dont be sayin if i go out your going Okay!? Okay. Jill, well sis i do miss basketball i love it so yeah its not just in my letters its all i did back home so yeah i miss it. Well it has already been another week i am emailing really early today so sorry if i dont answer you or your questions i didnt see them so sorry. Well this week has been a lot of fun i am lovin life just chillin in Good old Texas its been a little cold and wet this week. Me and Elder Boden had a baptism on the 31st it was good and we have another one next week as well with a man named John Smith. He is a semi Blind guy who has been investigating for a while like a year or so and Elder Boden and i just told him that he needed to get baptized and he said okay i will. So thats gonna be cool i like him a lot he is a pretty awesome dude.

Anyways umm we had a Zone Conference yesterday and our mission is going to read the Doctrine and Covenants and the pearl of Great Price in 90 days so i will be learning about Joseph Smiths life and Revalations for the next little while. i am excited to be here and to learn about stuff and to be able to talk to people about what i believe even tho they think i am going striaght to hell. its kinda funny what some people think we believe there are some crazy one like one guy said that we weren't Christians and that we are a cult and that our religion got started by Free masons. its all crazy he was not a very nice guy either. He didnt like what we had to say it was pretty funny tho, he was a really fat guy who had no shirt on it made me and Boden laugh a lot later. I think that being here is a good thing i like it but i miss y'all and mean Everyone i'm not limiting this to people who write me i miss just about everybody.

I was so glad to here from ya mom tho thanks for the letter. I like being informed on things so thanks for the updates. Brett also thanks dude, were they undefeated up to this point? Does Kalin still talk crap like does he say that they are better than we were? If he does tell him when we have a alumni game we will smoke all of them cause we should have been undefeated and #1 in the state and i think that almost everyone on our team could go play college ball somewhere. Goll i miss Ball so bad Man i hardly get to play it out here and the people i play against suck so i dont try and then i feel bad for beating them, and i am getting so fat and lazy i have gained 20 lbs out here i weigh like 163 lbs now and i actually have a chest, well compared to what it was i have chest, so dude i am gonna throw it down before i come home. I am determined i can pop it hard 2 handed now and am so close to puttin it down i just need a little bit more and then i will slam it home and when you get home we will freakin ball it up in the summers and just kill everyone man i am excited to do that again its gonna rock. Well thanks for everthing you guys i really liked every bit of it. I esspecially liked the fact that you guys all wrote me an e-mail. Well my week has been interesting yesterday i got in like 4 bashes with Elder Boden some guy was really mad at us too it was really funny cause some people are just like that i guess.

My Birthday was not the same at all it didnt feel like my birthday at all it was just another missionary day. My packages as far as i know all got here the 2 pizza's one from sean and one from mom and dad and the TCU shorts came along time ago and everything else was way sweet too except that muscle shirt doesnt show off my muscles very good cause they're too small for the shirt, Thats a joke i liked it all very much. Jill i got the little fruit basket thing and it was sparkling Grape juice as far as i could tell i dont remember much after i drank it tho so all well it was good. Ha

Well me and Elder Boden have a baptism this week with a girl named Ashley Miller she is 20 years old and has a 1and a half year old. thats so crazy too me to think she is my age and has a 1 year old kid. But it doesnt matter about the past its all in the present.

Well thats a lot of people at our house now a days and you guys thought that you would be empty nesters ha like that was gonna happen. You guys ,mom and dad, should go see Jared for me i mean we were tight for a long time. Tell colt i know what waiting feels like and tell him to stay ready and not think it will never come cause it comes faster than you think. Thats way cool that you and everybody went to hear her talk i think that Elder Neilson is a good Apostle.but Elder Holland is the best one. It was reall y cool seeing Cousin Lisa and talking to her she is very nice thanks for the uplifting comments mom they are really cool i enjoy them a lot.

Crusty- You should lIsten to my mom even tho i never did cause she is right the mission will put you a lot farther ahead in life and you will come back a changed person i mean look at me i have grown up in only 5 months and it will keep flying by and i will be home and be a better man for it and i will also have evry girl at BYU wanting me cause i am a returned missonary ha its the truth chicks dig RM's. I plan on holding that record cause no one will be able to break i t cause i will be here for 24 months and nobody will go longer than me and i did it first so i win thanks chris for the letter i hope to get more from ya.

Jen thats a funny idea about the door breaking and everything and tell walker keep up the prayers they are working i am being blessed beyond comprehension. Email Update: New Companion

Hey Family,

Well my life is pretty much the same as it has been for the past 5 months just bein a great missionary. Well one new thing happened TRANSFERS, and like the past 3 i got a new companion well sorta new his name is Eldr Boden we were in the MTC together we are Co-Senior Companions and today is our first full day in the mission field together. Yesterday tho our first day together we were tracting and a lady was working on her house and we went and asked if we could od anyhthingand she actually said yes. So we asked what she needed and she was trying to screw in a new lock on her door so Elder Boden starts to screw it in and me and her are just talking and the we hear a snap, and we look over at Boden and he Busted the nail clean off so the only way to get it out would be to take the whole thing off and try and pop it out. She was really mad but i was impressed at how she kept her cool and so she pretty mich in a nice way told us to leave. I was laughing so hard after we left it was really funny.

Dad thanks for the Sugar update i think I agree about Chasen he is a Cocky little boy. I also dont think that kid will be better than tanner. Tanner could have played varsity as a freshman as well and been really good. But i will keep a lot better track of my money and will try and use it less. I just buy things i think i will need in the future and i dont have any patience to wait till i need it to buy it. So i will control myself better sorry i know i need to i am not very money smart. Also i am glad the stuff i sent made it there safely. Chris better lear what that says cause hes gonna be speaking it for about 2 years of his life in the near future. Also those glasses reminded me a lot of brett and they were a dollar so i just had to send them to him.

Jill thanks for that story it brightened up my day and i am in hick ville so that could very well happen to me it would be very awkward and very funny i would probably laugh really hard for a long time. I am glad you like me enough to interupt your law school stuff to write me thanks a ton, it makes me feel really good inside ha i am just givin ya a hard time but really thanks for the letter. That earthquake was a big deal and i bet that your place is going crazy and you have to write a lot of talks for the in charge lady i for got her name. Also it is really weird that i will be turnign 20 its weird that i have been around for 2 decades the 90 and the 2000's its really strange to me. That is really funny that you are gonna do door aproaches in semenary i never did anything like that in Seminary. Jeremy how long are your classes going to be and are they everynight or what? I think i am entering my forgotten year already ha its almost time for that to start right? I am enjoying the Gosple Principles lessons my ward is a little crazy and gets into some deep stuff and its really funny because i am gonna have to start teaching itlike 1 a month or something like that it will different. The people in there are all supposed to be in Gosple Doctrine not gosple principles. the joshu-a ward is crazy i think. Our teaching pool is a good size for hear like 6-7 people that we can go see every week for sure and there are a lot of people who are willing to at least listen to us nobody hear turs us away really quick. And some my mom and dad should have 2 memory cards you can ask them for that kind of stuff.

Aunt Barbie thanks for the letter and everything and no i dont say fixin ha. as much as i hear it out hear i dont say it. it is really thick here tho its kind of annoying but the people are real funny and everything. I havent seen couisn lisa yet is she in the Fort worth Stake or in the Colleyville one?? I thkn that it is awesome you guys feed the missionaries they need it i promise they are always hungry. I didnt get transfered tho my companion did tho he is now in Saginaw texas. I love you aunt Barbie thanks again for the letter.

Its good to hear from y'all. Jill sorry i didnt write you last week i didnt get your e-mail till after i already sent mine Jax same with you i would have written but you guys sent it too late. Well Jax i will respond to you first.

My life is awesome i am lovin Texas just being a missionary with Elder Josie. This is the last P-day of this Transfer, I cant believe its been 3 weeks since Christmas and its almost my Birthday i'm so excited. Can you believe i'm going to be 20 years old!!! Thats so weird to me i have seen 2 decades roll through. I am so old. But Jaclyn i will do my best to help you out but mine will be lean tough as nails muscle i will not be fat ever i do however look bigger in my face and neck. I am super jealous of that i want to play everyday i miss it a lot but i have a life time to do that and only two years to do this so i gotta stay focused and do all i can now cause it will be over before i know it.

I think i did know that and a way i used to talk to people about that and how important it is, I say like there is a wall between us and God we cant go through around or even under the wall and we cant talk through the wall but we can throw a message in a bottle or a prayer over the wall. But in order to know what god wants us to do we need constant communication so there has to be someone on top of the wall aka a prophet to help us have that constant commmunication that we need. Its really hard to type and explain what i really want to say but thats the gist of it if you dont understand it just let me know and i'll try and tell you in a more simple kind of way or more detailed whatever you want. The music thing, just go to itunes and look at the top songs for whatever genre you want hey are normally good ones to listen too or ask jill and jen they should know.

I have been oing awesome since Christmas i have had a ton of fun with my Comp but we think this is the last week we ahve together cause he is probably getting transfered cause he has been here for quite a long time like 6 months. He has been in Joshua longer than i have been out on my mission total. I dont care if you read all the mission stuff it doesnt bother me at all and if you would like to send me some i wont tell ya no but in february i will be extremely smart with my money cause thats when i get 135 from the church. Also i hate to tell ya'll this but i got a ticket for going 42 in a 30 which i though was a 35 but i can take defensive driving and get it off my record if you would put 145 dollars in my account casue it is 105 for the paperwork stuff to take the class then 40 more to take the test thingy. Sorry i promise i wont get anymore tickets while i am here.

Dad, thanks for that i really liked it a lot and i really like the sports updates. Jocelyn has that scholarship for Volleyball and she goes there on like the 8th or 20th of August. Hi parents i am only gonna talk to you guys cause everybody else was too busy to write me this week except y'all. Dad that is really cool i hope you learn a lot about the BOM it really is a super book i enjoy learning about it all the time its so much fun to study cause its full of actiion its almost like a novel. An idea for your class is too have them read it in a month cause if they do they gain a better understanding of the story and the time line and everything makes more sense like all the Nephi's and all the Laman's and i just think it is a really good idea and you should let all my friends who want to come in to your class and study with y'all and learn all they can about it it will help them i gaurentee it or however you spell it. Mom i dont think your preaching but i just wanna know why you think i am not a disciple what do you think i did or have since done too not be a disiple of Christ? i am not mad i just wanna know what is on your mind and why you think that. Well i am lovin life out here with Elder josie we have interviews tomorrow and i will have a better understanding of the chances of me and Josie stickin together for another transfer it will be a lot of fun if he stays and if i stay as well i really want to have a companion for longer than 6 weeks. For my birthday i dont know what i want hmm... i want Gift cards i dont need any clothes i dont need anything really i just eat a lot so gift cards will be great! Dad i dont get to watch the games but members keep us updated on things so i will know who won and the score and some stats. First of sean thats so cool dude you get to learn a language your so lucky. I found that place on a globe your like right next to the water, too bad you cant swim huh! Ha, well you can get some tight pictures thats for sure. Dude i am so happy for ya except that you have to wait so long but i am excited to come get ya cause thats what i decided to do is travel around and pick all y'all up! Spain will be a very interesting place to visit i thinkn i will be able to go swimming and do things that you cant which will be way awesome for me. Maybe we can go back after you get released and then you can swim as well? that would be a ton more fun!
Family it was so good to talk to y'all on Christmas. It was great to hear your voices and talk to ya not just letters. I do love letters tho so keep sending them to me. just think 3 more of those and i'll be home it will fly by i am so excited to be hear and to be serving the lord. Hey Mom, Dad, aunt Helen, Aunt Barbie, and Jill And my Brothers.

Well ya'll just so ya know i love all ya'll. : ) I cant believe its Christmas in a week, time is just flying by. Well i am definately warming up to the Joshua area, its not Temple but thats okay. Well i get to go back on Sunday to Temple, to baptize Joan. She is the first person that i tracted into that has progressed this far and i am so excited for her to feel the Holy Ghost in her life permanantly. This is such a good time of year to talk about christ and his life and everything that he means to all of us.

I am so excited about the phone call on Christmas its exciting i cant wait and as far as i know friends are okay to talk on Christmas. Aunt Helen thanks for the letter it was really good to hear about ya'lls life and everything and thanks for the gift to i really like it. ha Aunt Baarbie the medicine is helpping a ton thanks for it. Being the Texan of the Family you know what works in texas and what doesnt. Thank you so very much. Jill i will write you another letter and thaknks for writing me and i cant wait to get your package : )

i'm excited for Christmas its gonna be so much fun. Sean and Colt thanks so much for writing me its so, i mean so good to hear from somebody not in my Family. Dad i didnt buy a bike i am still in a car area and there was no good bike store down in belton but i will buy one sometime unless i never go to a bike area. Also i am stretching every morning and loveing it cause i can now touch my toes and it almost doesn't hurt ha, and me and my comp are doin a real good workout some guy who is a professional body builder gave us some protein and work out so we are gonna get tuff i do feel bigger than i have ever been and my goal now is to dunk it before my mission is over. Thanks for the updates and stuff i really like hearing about them but how is Caleb doing he is the only one i care about really.

the pizza thing was way cool i really liked it thank you both so much and we will go talk to him if he is in our area. i dont know if he is or not but somebody will go talk to him for sure. the missionary work is going extreremly well, we have a baptism on the 27th in joshua his name is Robbin. he is a real hard workin guy i like him a lot. i dont have any real cool stories for ya'll that i can think of right now but i will try and think of some for the christmas call. i cant wait to talk to ya'll i am so excited. Hey Ya'll From Joshua Texas (well i live in Burleson but close enough)
Hi guys well i am just chillin in Burleson TX now and my companions name is Elder Josie he is Also form West Jordan. I am kind of sad to have left Temple i really liked it there and i loved Elder Goldsberry we would have had such a good transfer but thats okay I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go right? Well before i leeft that aarea we set a couple of Baptism Dates with this sweet lady named Joan and Claudia Martinez they both were so nice and The cool thing about it is that i get to go back to see both of them then. Also the Curry's the members who called ya'll ther kids were crying when i left. i Miss it but i am excited to serve here as well i cant wait to get started. Mom i dont really know anything about coats so whatever you think is good is great with me i am good with anything. Thank you jeremy for the letters so much i am very excited for christmas as well were gonna have a blast. i'm not sure what were gonna do but it will be really fun. I miss snow you are so lucky i dont think i am gonna get snow this Christmas it wil be my first One without it. Mom where did you send that letter too? Hey family,

Well thanks for the information and everything i like hearin about yall and about the stuff thats going on in your lives it feels like i'm more involved. Mom i appreciate your letter and everything and i love the shoe stuff and so does Elder Goldsberry the cleaner worked wonders on our shoes they look almost new now. I liked everything you sent me and anything you send me will be awesome i will use it all. my clothes are fine i have only had to fix one shirt pocket and one of the hems in my brown pants but i am amazing with saftey pins and took care of them with those.

i could you some more socks If you would like to send me any and i was careful on thanksgiving i only cut my leg in one place and it didnt feel like a turkey bowl there was no snow and i was in shorts and a T-shirt it was really weird but it was still really fun to get out and do something active. Thanks for the stats dad i really like hearing about that kind of stuff it makes me happy. Is Alex okay still is she improving or what i would really like to hear more about it. I am still using Emv and the juice i am almost done with the first bottle and almost all the Emv is gone also so that would be a good christmas gift just a little hint there. but anyways how is jaclyn is she okay alos i mean it was her baby.

Jill since you are going to read this also thanks for the blogs and stuff i like those there very nice and HAPPY BIRTHDAY JILL sorry i didnt say anything last week but i still said it so dont get mad at me i remebered sometime. Jen i read some of your Blog and just curious was the kacie you were talking about Kacie Hart whatever her married name is now?? Well i heard the weather in rexburg was really cold but i guess on friday there is a chance of snow down here how much snow is up there send me a picture of it i wanna have a white christmas ha well it will almost be one not really but maybe. the weather tho has been relativly nice compared to back home. It has the same feel with a really cold wind but there isnt any snow on the ground its kind of sad.

Transfer calls are this saturday which is kind of depressing this transfer has been so much fun and everybody says that i'm leaving so i dont know where i'll be next week it could be in oklahoma well on the border anyway. I set a new max for my bench this week which is 175lbs which isnt to bad considering i only weigh about 155-160 so i can bench more than i weigh i feel good about that. Elder Goldsberry wanted me to tell yall that he beat in basketball again he has done it twice it was a really close game tho 11-13 i was up 7-1 and he said that me just shooting the 3 ball was boring so i didnt shoot one for a while then he came back and i couldn't shoot anymore it was really bad he had really good defense tho it was sad that i could make any of my wide open layups tho i was kind of upset at that. Well i will write a letter to ya Mom if i forgot anything in your letter and i found an envelope big enough for som epictures so i'll send yall some of them too. Well i gotta go family bye-bye.

Hey family i'm sorry i couldn't tell ya'll that i was emailing today i wish i would have known but i found out yesterday so yeah. Well this week has been really good i got moms package and we got a baptism i think i told last week about him Shawn so if not tell me and i'll tell ya about him. Mom thanks for the package and Dad thanks for the mints they are really good ha. Well tomorrow on thanksgiving we are going to go play football with some people in our Ward, i Hope its fun i miss it a lot out running everyone and hitting people i miss that a lot. Mom that was a lot of frosting i dont think i want to eat it all i'm already getting fat well bigger than i have ever been but i will have to sacrifice and just eat it cause i want to. i'm excited to make those pancakes to they look really good too. Hey Ya'll thank you so much for all the letters have yall seen Ian lately i heard he was going somewhere in new york I had never heard of it before honestly. So this week has been way fast we are workin hard and are having fun i think that those 2 go hand in hand hard work and happiness thats somethin for all yall future missionaries out there its really true when you have the spirit it feels so right, you just want more of it. Sean i am so excited dude awe i get the chills thinkin about your call i hope you go to somewhere where there are yarn heads like yourself haha that way you wonr feel so awkward. well i am gonna sen my mom a Memory card with pictures and stuff on it so ya'll can see what i've beeen doing for about 3 months now. Dad i loved your letter its so good to hear about Colton and Jordon that is so good that they are preparing and jordon gonedoes eveyone think its weird?? I was just thinking about going and getting him and how excited i'd be and everything it is gonna be so tight but that is a long ways a way. so back to texas ha well i dont know if i told ya'll about When i gave my first Blessing...so i'll tell ya just in case. Well it was about 2 or 3 weeks in the field and we (me Elder Goldsmith and elder Steffler and Elder McBride) went to Scott and White, a big ole Hospital in temple and we waited there for about 2and a half hours cause our bishop asked us to go give a blessing to someone. So we went and we couldnt go in cause the babies parents weren't there it was so Long so we left and then our bishop said to go back cause we could do it now so we went back but we waited for another hour and then we got in cause her grandparents were there. So we went in adn we talked to the Mom and aunt and asked what happened and theBabues Father had shaken her and it was so weird cause she just sat there spread eagle and she didnt move it ws a sad sight and then we gave her a blessing and i felt the Spirit so strong in there it was so cool and that just made my testimony ofpreisthood power grow exponencially somethin like that its a big word the i cant spell ha sorry i am not that smart. So we called the next week and they were out of the Hospital and she was Better.

Well Mom i think that is a good experiance dont you? Well i think you could send brooke Flowers and say in the note From your best friend. It doesnt matter what kind of Flowers either. That would be a good idea thatnk you sobmuch for that. The Walker Family,

It was our pleasure to have your son in our house for dinner tonight. As a tradition, each time we have the missionaries for dinner, we take a picture of them with our three little boys and send it to their families. It's been a great tradition and a lot of fun to see what "the boys" come up with for the picture. I've attached two of them that we took tonight.

I also wanted to thank you for sharing Elder Walker with us here in Belton. I know he hasn't been out long, but I can see an excitement and energy in his eyes as he serves. It's comforting, as a mother of three boys, to know that there are great missionaries here to be an example to them. Elder Walker shared with us that he is the youngest of 5 and has 4 older sisters. Hey Family
I am doing great just enjoying the nice warm weather down here its really weird that there isnt any snow down here I am kind of upset really I kinda miss it its too hot for me and its ony like 70-80 degrees...Mom you can send me a letter the same way u you used to just its hard to know what letters have been read and the ones i havent read yet so if you can figure out how to make it look they havent been read yet go for it that would be fine. So did you go see Tammy i think she will definitly need some help just stop by to see how she is doing if you would for me that would be way sweet. Did you guys know that jordon didnt go to Brazil yet he is at the Provo MTC for a while i guess ha just a little fun fact. Well as of now we have another Baptism Date with a kid named shawn Davis and he is a way vcool kid he is 22 but looks loke he is 17ish maybe kinda like me but i will send another memory card home for sure...by the way the stuff on my memory card that you guys sent me i cant read any of it so you should send it to me again this Memory card i saw some of the pictures that jen out on there cause i took it to walmart to print off another picture but that was all. So just try again i dont know why it didnt work jill and Jeremy are smart tey can figure it out. The frst Baptism that i mentioned tho was back in octber on the 18th and it was a Lady nad Marissa Curry her husband was a less active and now his whole family is in the church and going strong...But a surprise that we had was anther girl in our ward who wasnt a member got baptized on the 27th of october so its just a cool thing to be out here. Thats weird that brooke came up did she go to jordons farewell?? Mom i can multi task i can think about two things at the same time so dont worry. Me and elder Goldsberry are taring it up down here. we are having fun too its great. I'm excited for thanksgiving we have it on p-day so its even better Jeremy i cant believe you ate so much thats hilarious i love food so that would be great if that happened to me haha. Speaking of food i weighed myself the other day and it said 158lbs i didnt believe it and i have high blood pressure ha weird right? i'm getting really old really fast. I cant believe i am almost 20 years old that is so weird. also i have to buy a bike so if ya'll could maybe out 200 more dollars in my account that would be great so i can get a bike to last me my whole mission. well i dont now what else to talk about so thats all i'm gonna say. Hey Family,
Well i swear i sent a letter last week its in my sent folder and also mom are you reading my emails?? why? I haven't moved and i got the package, thank you for that i enjoy candy. We are doing great my companion is actualy from Idaho over in Kuna. He is really cool guy and we are having a great time. we should have a couple Baptism's this month maybe 3 but i never know ha people down here are so cool i love em all. well almost all. But its been great weather down here about 80 everyday but the mornings have been awesome i love em they almost remind me of getting uo for Basketball but its warmer here, and there isn't any snow. But Belton and Temple are really great i think i told ya'll that my companion is another Gold but he is the original Gold his name is Goldsberry which is pretty cool. Its crazy to t hink that pord is going to leave so soon its weird that i have been out for 2 months already its so weird to think of what i would be doing at home right now. Playing Basketball because i love it an d miss it ahh yeah i love Basketball... I love you guys more but i still love basketball. We have some really cool investigators tho i love em all. Man i thought that Sugar girls would take state again. its kind of just expected right? Well i hope Colton has fun in St george and at the utah game it should be a good one. Hey Dad and Mom,

hey guys thanks for the letters i'm lovin them. I didn't get transfered so dont worry anything you sent to me will get here. My new companions name is Elder Goldsberry he is pretty cool so far he has been out for a while so he knows his stuff ha. Our mission is supposed to have a really good month this month. Our goal is to get 100 baptisms in the month of November. I'm really excited to be out here and doing what i'm doing i lov it so far. People down here are so religious its so weird. like its crazy they have Christian talk radio a member left on on accident. Its just really weird how poeple who dont have the gospel are they dont know what life could be like. are jen and miyah still there? On a different note. We played basketball today and its sad how far my shot is off and how everything has changed. I kinda sucked to be completely honest to what i used to be its horrible. Mom i agree that it will be weird not writing down a wish list and a friends wish list but i will endure i'm still Lovin life down in the south its so humid today tho. So tell me about Salmon and how the girls did at state, and how buddah and scott are doing if there little PMG thing is still goin on or what. Hey mom and Dad ,
Sorry about last week it was really confusing and annoying. Well last week Elder Goldsmith actually sprained his ankle pretty bad. it was really disgusting it turned all purple and red ugh. he is almost all better now tho its only a little bit swelled up. About me umm well its pretty much the same everyday, we get up workout till 7 then shower put on our white shirts and ties and eat then study till like 10 then go knock or on mondays we plan till about 2 then we knock but other than that its all pretty much the same everyday. P-day so far all we've done is play basketball till today cause the Spanish Elders in our area are real sick and we didn't want to play 2 on 2 it wouldn't be that much fun. thanks for all the letters and stuff you should tell me how the football team is doing manly Wilson but the football team to. On Tuesday tho i made an old man cry, it was a good cry tho his name is Carleton and I just told him that he could feel good again and he started crying. A little background on him tho he had just told us how his wife was a Crack Whore and she lives with a colored man now it was really funny, but then he told us that he was going to go get a couple of 42 oz beers drink them and talk to himself that night till he fell asleep. It was really cool tho i liked feeling the spirit with him. My ward is really cool also they are good at coming out with us to help us teach its pretty cool how many of them are willing to give up there time to help us. Well my back is better i just take some IBU and deal with it it doesn't hurt if i do that. Thanks again for everything including the package and i love you guys so much i love you a ton.

Hey mom and dad
Thank you so much for the package. i loved everything in it. i have already eaten 2 of the cup of noodles and 2 of the macaronis. I love the sour patch kids too thanks so much i'm excited to make a cake tonight its another greenie in our areas birthday its gonna be good. The weather here has been really good kinda like home nice and cold but way more rain its rained all but one day in temple since i've been here. We live in an apartment building called Turtle Creek Apartments its right in Belton by the walmart. My trainer has been here for 2 transfers before this one so he will probably go out and our district leaders think that i will to. my typical day is just waking up at 630 going to the gym in our complex if there is a female working out we have to leave which gets annoying because there used to be one who would get there at like 640 and we would have to leave in the middle of our work out, i hated it but for the past couple of days she hasn't come in so i've been getting a pretty good work out in the morning. then after that we go back eat breakfast and get ready for the day. After that we have our personal and Companionship studys. then we go out and teach the gospel either in referrals or tracting. I like tracting personally i thought walking would be annoying but i actually like it. Tomorrow tho we are going up to fort worth for a trainer greeny meeting training thing its like 2 and a half hours away. we have a car tho which is kind of disappointing cause riding a bike would be way fun i would make sure my seat was way comfy. Waking up early has been a lot easier here but my back has been hurting me so i bought some IBU and have been taking it at night which has helped a ton because i don't wake up in the middle of the night with an aching back. What is sugar's Record in football, and what happened to Cameron? Today we played Basketball again and it was way fun but in the last game i jammed my thumb finger which hurts way bad still. Dad i'm sorry that your class s so hard but like you said it makes you work hard cause you have to know the answer to every question like you always have haha. I love you guys and am so glad your helping my friends out and tell Scott and Buddha thank you so much for being nice to them especially Buddha and tell Buddha thanks for the package and all the stuff she told me the first day i got to the MTC in her letter it helped ease the pain. Mom thanks for keeping me updated on my friends and keeping them in line. Tell Colton to get something done in his life because in a while he will be without Jordon and then what is he going to do? Nothing at all except go to Dillons or Bretts tell him to practice football and make a goal to be able to walk on at BSU or where ever he wants to after his Mission. Hey Jax,

Thanks for all the letters and pictures from Jake they really are great. I love everything especially the Doctor Pepper, saved my life a couple times, add caffeine next time its better that way. Well my companions name is Bradley Boden from Malt/Elba Idaho -- haha, funny huh, 2 Idaho boys together. My district is way bomb they are all cool. I do [great] at basketball still tho. Me and my comp are the only 2 goin to texas, the rest are going to philly. There are some good ball players tho like one is a college baller and another 2 want to play and some of em are good, but I'm just that much better. My favorite teacher so far has been Brother Laubaugh he is so fetchin smart its not even cool, and Sister walker is bomb as well. I love em all its just the spirit that they all have is so intense its great and i love it. It isn't as bad as i thought it would be. The hard part is not fallen asleep in class or PS. I think i might have gained a pound but that's all, might have even lost one. Heard about your race tho and that you ran really good dad said that your team passed a lot of teams -- and sorry if my spelling sucks i have to type so fast its hard -- well back to your race i'm still impressed that you were able to do it after like what 4 months of having a baby. Its freakin impressive. That story about Jace and jake is hilarious thanks it made my day.
