May 13: Email Update

Hey everyone, (Especially Dillon)

       Well guys my week has been good i'm lovin Texas still and just livin my life like a missionary!  This weekend we are baptizing Erik, well technically Elder Bagley is but thats besides the point.  We also have a baptismal date for the 30th of May with a guy named Dennis Reggan he needs the gospel in his life and is really excited to get baptized!  So the work is moving froward and life is still as awesome as ever.  For anyone who asked or reads this Who wants an address can send me anything to:

Thats the address for the whole mission and with transfers coming up i dont know if i am staying or going and that address will send the letter, package, or whatever to where i am at when they get it so even if i move i'll get it from them.  

okay so on to questions from everyone Dillon well no i didnt know that her dad died thats weird,  I bet that you can bench more than me i havent benched in forever.  I love you Dillon. Colton i'm doing awesome, Texas is close to what its all cracked up to be everyone here is prideful they like Texas a lot, My plans are to come home and play ball i think i will go to school somewhere or red shirta year at SLCC i think i don treally know yet,  You rock as well maybe not as much as me but close. Misty is was good to get an email from ya ha i think enviromentalists are crazy as well and i'm glad you had fun in the rain i saw some pictures of your family on the card mom sent me and you all look so good jacey looks huge and aliyah looks so grown up its nutts! I ove ya Mist your family is awesome.

 

Jeremy it was good to hear from you as well i like that story in Job i never thought about using it in a lesson tho its so smart i'm glad i know you your a genious! I Love you and Jill good luck on everything i hope you guys can keep pressing forward with this if we have enough faith it will work out for all of us in the end okay!?

MOM hey madre thanks for the package i got it on monday and i loved every minute of it it was super awesome seeing some pictures of y'all and alos i liked seeing my pictures from high school they were nice. My mind was flooded with memories and good times.  So thanks for that, also i know who those poeple your talking about are and i hope Lunch was good.  Tell Jill that i love her and take your voice recorder thing and have her say hi to me okay!  I dont know what you can say to president saggers just say hi.  I love you mom and i sent a card to you so hopefully you get it before youleave for DC!

Dad Last but certainly not least,  Well my clothes all fit fine my pants are a little bit tighter but they are fine.  Thanks for the sports update thats always nice to see i enjoy it.  Thats good that jake is calming down just enough to say i love you too y'all.  Good lluck in louisville and keep up the good work on MonaVie can i get some EmV its all gone now i started drinking it and now its gone but wait about 2 weeks then i can send you my apartment address.  Love you Dad i sent you a B-Day card also so you'll get that soon.

May 6: Email Update

Hola everyone,

     Hey Family Friends and others!  Okay well my week has been really good we've been talking to people & just enjoying it.  It was so hot yesterday it was like 96 with 55% humidity. I was so sweaty it was nasty.  I have a camelback that i got from an investigator and its a life saver.  I think i am more hydrated then i have ever been in my life.  I am lovin Texas and just life in general its weird to think about what i did before this i feel like i have been a missionary my whole life.  Its crazy like i cant even fathom "Real Life".  You guys have to live in it everyday.

By the way Happy Birthday to DAD and Misty and Belated to Jaclyn (i think)!!!  Also Happy Mothers day MOM!  Other than the heat my life has been pretty much the same as always. I guess 6 o'clock my time will be okay for the call home.  I forget that you guys now have late church cause when i left it was at 11 which is what my church is at also.  Well i told you guys that i was getting bigger and nobody believed me >: (  I have found time in between missionary efforts to work out and get bigger just like Coach Parish told me to do so i can play Ball when i get home : )  I haven't gotten mom's package yet and i am waiting for it patiently.  Somthing that i would like if you can find it anywhere would be Bag Pipe hymns or classical Bag Pipe music.  Its a good change up from regular Motab and piano's. So thats my one request this week i think that that would be really cool but dont just send that wait till you want to send me more stuff i can wait for that.  Umm,  Brett it was really good to hear from ya i cant wait for your letter i'm so excited to read it.  Ha i love mail its awesome.   I dont get very much snail mail but i get good emails so thats okay.   T bear i didnt even hear about your Call i feel so left out now y'all where are ya going?? I am stoked about that i cant wait to know where your going your awesome man keep the faith be a really good missionary!!!!  Pord i am jealous of ya i really would like to here that concert haha tell me how it is and take pictures and send them too me so i can see you!  It is nice to get a letter from you every week too i love it. Elder Dayley man que paso?  Mi es mui Bueno and mi es mucho cansado.  Yo amo sue!  Amor Elder Walker.  

 Hey gracy happy late b-day i love you.  Jace your good at typing i love you too!!  hey Jill and Jeremy i love you guys i'll send ya a letter with my thoughts and stuff.  Mom your awesome thanks for dealing with jake and my friends and everything thats actually really funny about jake and Deseret book store. it made me laugh and i will talk to you the longest on sunday i am glad that you guys were so much help to my friends! Whose Carleton?? I love you mom and hope your package comes!   Dad i will do that thingy today and send it to you i am sorry for this thing i should have taken care of it. Tell Pord that he is family and can get on for the whole thing but i only have 40 minutes this time and yeah you can tell Brooke to jump on like i would say no haha. Also we can use our cell phones this time so its all good.  Anyways you guys are awesome i will talk to you on sunday and am supper excited to do that!

April 29: Email Update

Hola everyone,

    Hey y'all well my life is going good!  Its crazy its already May well basically.  Hmm, not much has happened this week.  We went to zone conference yesterday and it was president thurston's second to last one he only has 1 more!  President Saggers comes in about two months.  Wow, thats weird its exciting but weird.  So thats about the only thing new down here. 

Sean man you are awesome i cant wait to see ya again man your gonna be an amazing missionary.  Your fire is burning right now and never let it go out okay?!  You need to show spain what sugar city idaho is all about!  Ha Well at least what Elder Pope is about.  I cant believe your time is up and your going out already.  Time will fly by buddy so make it worth it.  Brett man it was good to hear from ya i cant wait for you to go to georgia and get to talk to real people the TA does suck a little bit but its get better with time i promise.  Your testimony will grow stronger out there and it will also be challenged so keep it up and be strong with it.  Same with you sean.  

Misty it was great to hear from you i don't know what to do for the summer just keep them entertained ha easier said than done huh.  Tell them all Hi and good luck in their piano recital They are probably really good so tell them to keep it up.  Jill good luck sis i hope it is the answer that we all want for ya.  I am prayin like crazy for ya.  Mom thanks for the letter and the encouragement i cant wait to get that package and its okay i'm not going anywhere anytime soon.  Dillon i'll just send you a letter okay? Its better that way.  Elder Dayley thats awesome man i cant believe you've been out for what is it now 4 months right? Thats a long time man congrats on your Baptism as well your probably an amazing teacher and can speak spanish like a mexican! haha.  Pord man thanks for the letter and the Love.   How is kiora???  How is just chillin with dill all the time now??   I still am excited to go to brazil!!  Also how is O'dells? April 23rd: Email Update

Hey Y'all!

      Okay well my week has been awesome so far and we are setting dates and just having a good time with it all!  On may 16th a Lady named Samara Hall is getting baptized and she has been investigating since November and she just decided that she is ready and she had some concerns and we answered them and she is excited to feel the spirit and be baptized.  Also Erik's date got moved to the 2nd of May because he got called into CQ (Army term that i know nothing about) so he has to wait one more week, but he will be baptized.  

Mom it was good to hear from ya i am glad that you were able to help Brett out and are helpping Sean, Chris, Jordon, Dillon and Colton get out here and do there work.  You guys rock and are so great to my friends they really should have been nicer to ya, haha.  I will print some pictures out today and send them with the tape thingy. Okay?  Also thanks for the Mona vie mom and Dad its a good one i like it.  

Brett i hope your likin the MTC you will like the field even more its really better out here cause you get used to it and you start to love it.  Your such a good example to everyone budy you just keep on truckin okay i know you wont read this for a week but you can make it dude! I mean Elder you can make it, haha.  Mike i am not jealous of your time in the MTC just so ya know but i am jealous of your spanish speaking ability now.  Thats way awesome that your baptizing people you will find a lot of sucess with Hispanics out there cause they are super humble.  Good luck man  you will do awesome!  

Dad thanks for the Mona Vie again its really good i like it.  Thanks for the email and the updates and yes i still bike a lot ha and it wont be very cool when my pants dont fit cause you will have to pay for new ones!! Haha so dont hope my legs get that big.  We get a fair amount of refferals and we do get a lot of cold contacts as well i think that only like 3-4 people i have baptized we actually knocked into most of them are refferals cause thats when people are interested.  Me and elder bagley are doing good he is from kearns/ West jordan, he doesnt know the batemans or the wolfgrahms, i already asked him.  And yes we get along.  P-day we normally get together and do some activity like basketball or football then we e-mail shop and write letters or whatever we want really.  P-days are awesome they are a milestone each week.  

Jenny thanks for the letters you sent me i realy like them and its really good to hear from ya. Thank you and good luck in Kentucky.  Jill thanks for the letter i did have time to read it all but thanks i will write you a letter after i read it so thanks again Jill.

Email Update: New Companion

Hello,

     Well transfers are come and Elder Spear is gone .  I am staying in Killeen and my new Companion is Elder Bagley. He is from south Salt lake i cant remember the name of the school or town were he is from i have never heard of it before.  We have a baptism on the 25th of april with a man named Erik Miller he is an awesome person he actually called us and asked to take the lessons his girlfriend is a member and she got him interested and he is awesome he quite smoking and he has been doing it since he wa 12 and he is 29 so its way cool.  

I am just loving life in the dirty south as we call it down here i love it.  I cant believe i am going to hit my 8 and 9 month marks this transfer its insane i havent been gone that long, have I?  The work is going great down here and i had an awesome experiance the other day actually tuesday a lady who i baptized in temple daughter got baptized the other day it just shows me that i am doing something so important for families and soon so will Colton and Brett are both so awesome.  Sean isnt too far out away either and neither is Chris only 13 days Chris!  Wow you guys are all going to love it just have fun with it dont be such a stickler that you kill all the fun just have fun and be yourselves with people they dont want a robot they want you!!!!  Okay that was my rant for the day.  

Colton man your gonna love life in jersey there is a pizza place here that sells NJ pizza and its the bomb thats gonna rock!  Your so lucky you get a cool Easterner accent i have a slow southern drawl about me now its weird and i get to call home on the 9th of may I am so jealous of you getting to be a greenie man you ahve life easy that first transfer!!!   

Brett man i feel your pain you gonna be sweatinm up a storm juts like me except your already brown and i am a white kid.  I do ball every now and then i feel bigger and everyone in temple said i look taller and bigger and older so i am finally maturing yay : ) !!!  I havent lost all of it some fo my speed but i am a better driver now i think cause i am bigger and not afraid of people anymore haha!  Also its only 6 days now ohh man your so close good luck bro you will get an email next week even tho you cant check it.  Pord man that sucks about kiora man 5 ribs ouchy that is too bad.  Congrats on the undefeatedness almost your an awesome coach.  I cant wait ot come to Brazil tho just so ya know i am working on my spanish/ Portugese so i can say something to you wheni come and pick you up.  Mike i'm sorry i thought you were on there before.  Its good to hear from ya tho and i wont be dont worry she isnt cute at all. Haha!  Also all the transfers fly by so take it in while you can, and i will work o it super hard so we can chat it up back home.  

Mom, I am really happy i am lovin life in texas its the bomb my allergies are okay there the same way as they were back home so yeah, I dont need clothes they still fit my neck is way to big but i can make it through i am doing great in that area. The Tanner thing is sad and he will be getting a letter from me dont worry i have talked top a lot of people who have past stuff and i know that the attonment is reall and he can feel good again he just has to know that for himself i will tell him.  I cant believe my friends are all leaving its so awesome just thinking about high school and how things were its so awesome how the attonement works.  Its so awesome.  

Dad thanks for the letter and thanks for the updates on life i am so glad to hear the your sememster will be easier than your last one i cant wait too talk to y'all again next week i am so happy that you guys are doing good. Also dad you are patriotic haha your awsoem and your almost 61 ha.  

Jeremy thats a good openning chapter kind of like Jesus the Christ but i think that Talmage might be a little bit smarter but just a little bit.  Colton and Brett Good luck guys have fun be brave BE BOLD and be obedient D&C 121 talks about that i believe.  Well I am almost out of time thanksk so much guys i love you all Every single one of you!!

Email Update: Pre-transfer Update

Hello Everyone,

      Well this is board week so i find out what i'm doing on saturday! It an exciting/ Stressful time. Its crazy that those six weeks have just flown by.  I am on my 6th transfer starting next week thats so crazy i cant believe it my 8th one is my year mark.  Texas is getting so hot i cant believe it people say that it gets up too 110 here with humidity so you can bet i am going to be baked i think the hottest weather i have ever even been in is 102 in Vegas and i was dieing. You guys already know that its hot in texas your like 2 hours south of me thats weird.  Sean i wish i could see you too but i would get my head ripped off, and i would be super home sick for the next year and a half.  Hows the spanish coming amigo? I am trying to learn it but i dont have a lot of time to do it so i am learning on the fly.  I can kind of do a door approach, kind of.  Are you way excited man??  I am excited for ya!  30 more days man its comin quick.  I'll write ya a letter okay!  

Well mom i will buy another card i still have one but i will buy another one just incase.  I have been taking pictures so dont worry about it they're there i just cant send em all home cause i dont have another card.  Thanks for the jace story thats awesome i am so excited to see him he will be huge. Thanks for everything mom you rock so much i am so glad that your my mom.  

Dad you should have picked duke to win it all.  I hope your buisness explodes for ya.  I would like some more juice  i have a ton of EmV.  I need more time to recharge my batteries too i am so tired all the time its hard work riding a bike everywhere.  

Pord thanks for being the first to tell me about Duke thanksfor thans and for the letter it was awesome i dont really need anything just tell me about the week like your max and just life in general its awesome to just here from ya in anyway about whatever cause that means that you care  You rock buddy.

Email Update: Heating up Killeen

Hello guys!

       Well this week has gone by super fast and time this transfer is slipping away me and Elder spear have been together for 5 p-days now, Crazy!  We have had a lot of tracting this week and it is mui caliente (really hot)!!  I have some really nice tan lines on my arms its sad how white i was i am the darkest i have ever been i think.  Its nuts how being outside makes you tan who would have thought that??  I am just kidding i am not that stupid. Life in Killeen is going pretty well i am enjoying it except for the heat its like 85 degrees and i am dieing and people are telling me that it gets to like 100+ like all summer here so yeah if i die thats what happened i melted in texas.  Ha that is gonna be super hot. 

Dad yeah i do ride my bike everywhere it kinda is getting easier just like you said a blessing in disguise and i am noticing my legs getting bigger i have the classic walker thighs now big and tuff!  Actually i am noticing that my pants and stuff are getting tighter idk if that is a good thing but maybe?   If i dunk it i dont care how big my legs are.  Missionary work is going good down here there are people here just waiting to here the truth its so awesome the things that we know compared to the rest of the world.  Its cool how we know so much more about the bible than other people cause we can use more than one reference to understand it all.   I am also glad that DUKE is going to beat WV and take the whole thing.  I cant believe how long i have been watching them and when i come out here is when they last the longest.  Its okay i forgive them they can win it in 2 years too so i can see that as well.  Are you two feeling the empty nester stage of life now cause nobody comes to hang out anymore.  Just give one of them a call Jordon's number is 208-313-4111.  I still remember it pord i will never forget that number is super easy to remember.  I hope y'alls business continues to boom so you can retire and be happy with it. 

Mom life i s pretty good here just havin fun.  I am excited for my package : ) Easter will be good no matter what tho cause i get to listen to General Conference, Which will be awesome cause they aer so smart and i can use some of ther quotes in my teaching.  Its gonna be awesome.
