Elder Walker Email Week of December 17th

Hey Mom, Dad, aunt Helen, Aunt Barbie, and Jill And my Brothers.

Well ya'll just so ya know i love all ya'll. : ) I cant believe its Christmas in a week, time is just flying by. Well i am definately warming up to the Joshua area, its not Temple but thats okay. Well i get to go back on Sunday to Temple, to baptize Joan. She is the first person that i tracted into that has progressed this far and i am so excited for her to feel the Holy Ghost in her life permanantly. This is such a good time of year to talk about christ and his life and everything that he means to all of us.

I am so excited about the phone call on Christmas its exciting i cant wait and as far as i know friends are okay to talk on Christmas. Aunt Helen thanks for the letter it was really good to hear about ya'lls life and everything and thanks for the gift to i really like it. ha Aunt Baarbie the medicine is helpping a ton thanks for it. Being the Texan of the Family you know what works in texas and what doesnt. Thank you so very much. Jill i will write you another letter and thaknks for writing me and i cant wait to get your package : )

i'm excited for Christmas its gonna be so much fun. Sean and Colt thanks so much for writing me its so, i mean so good to hear from somebody not in my Family. I mean i love my Fam and all but ya'll are my Brothers i never had. Sean i AM so excited for you i cant wait to talk to you on Christmas and hear where your going and i am excited to meet your friend Hatch it'll be cool to know somebody who knows you. Colton thanks for the letter man it touched my heart. i probably wasnt the best example to you but i tried and will continue to try even harder. it will be fun gettin old together. haha you and me in rocking chairs ha funny picture real funny. Wow i cant wait to hear ya'lls voices and talk back no more of this email stuff well for a week anyways.

Buddah you are crazy you arent waiting for me to even meet this guy whose gonna be there forever gosh shows how much you love me. ha just kidding i trust you enough to let you marry him i at least want some pictures of him and you okay thats all i ask is some pictures haha love you cuz. I cant wait to call ya'll i have a one tract mind if you couldnt tell haha. Well for the time of the call it will be at 2 oclock in the afternoon here so 1 oclock there.

Dad i didnt buy a bike i am still in a car area and there was no good bike store down in belton but i will buy one sometime unless i never go to a bike area. Also i am stretching every morning and loveing it cause i can now touch my toes and it almost doesn't hurt ha, and me and my comp are doin a real good workout some guy who is a professional body builder gave us some protein and work out so we are gonna get tuff i do feel bigger than i have ever been and my goal now is to dunk it before my mission is over. Thanks for the updates and stuff i really like hearing about them but how is Caleb doing he is the only one i care about really.

the pizza thing was way cool i really liked it thank you both so much and we will go talk to him if he is in our area. i dont know if he is or not but somebody will go talk to him for sure. the missionary work is going extreremly well, we have a baptism on the 27th in joshua his name is Robbin. he is a real hard workin guy i like him a lot. i dont have any real cool stories for ya'll that i can think of right now but i will try and think of some for the christmas call. i cant wait to talk to ya'll i am so excited. Well my time is almost up so i'll say goodbye for now talk to ya'll next week...Literally i will speak to you i with my own voice. : )

Hey Ya'll From Joshua Texas (well i live in Burleson but close enough)
Hi guys well i am just chillin in Burleson TX now and my companions name is Elder Josie he is Also form West Jordan. I am kind of sad to have left Temple i really liked it there and i loved Elder Goldsberry we would have had such a good transfer but thats okay I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go right? Well before i leeft that aarea we set a couple of Baptism Dates with this sweet lady named Joan and Claudia Martinez they both were so nice and The cool thing about it is that i get to go back to see both of them then. Also the Curry's the members who called ya'll ther kids were crying when i left. i Miss it but i am excited to serve here as well i cant wait to get started. Mom i dont really know anything about coats so whatever you think is good is great with me i am good with anything. Thank you jeremy for the letters so much i am very excited for christmas as well were gonna have a blast. i'm not sure what were gonna do but it will be really fun. I miss snow you are so lucky i dont think i am gonna get snow this Christmas it wil be my first One without it. Mom where did you send that letter too? On the bright side tho Elder Josie wants to get tough before he goes home so he/we have another weight set and a bench so i am gonna get tough but its really hard playing basketball cause i dont have enough time to adjust to my new strength and everything but i can drive to the hole better now but i do feel a little bit slower. i am glad that your getting to go to wood shop Dad and its cheap therapy right? Ha well i am Glad that you business is going well and will you For me send a thing of Emv to my old address for Elder Goldsberry as my Christmas Present to him if its really expensive thats okay you dont have to do it but i would really appreciate it if you did...I will Continue to pray for your buisness to grow (it is okay for a missionary to do that) Mom thanks for everything you continue to do and Dad you as well and i like the update on the Sports and stuff. I am crushed by Jordon I sent yall a letter with pictures and a letter to him dont give it to him it will make him cry gosh dang it that is so annoying i am sad right now. Well tell Sister Anderson thanks for the letter cause i cant e-mail her back and willyou give me Tanners Address and Jareds Home address that would be awesome. As for the Time of the Call i am not sure but by next week i will have it nailed down and also i have one more request umm will you send me my diggers Blanket for christmas as well i decided i really miss it and i want it so if you could that would rock. Well thats about all i got for ya this far and i will email you next week with some cool stuff well as cool as a missionary can be. Thank you so much everyone

Email Update

Hey family,

Well thanks for the information and everything i like hearin about yall and about the stuff thats going on in your lives it feels like i'm more involved. Mom i appreciate your letter and everything and i love the shoe stuff and so does Elder Goldsberry the cleaner worked wonders on our shoes they look almost new now. I liked everything you sent me and anything you send me will be awesome i will use it all. my clothes are fine i have only had to fix one shirt pocket and one of the hems in my brown pants but i am amazing with saftey pins and took care of them with those.

i could you some more socks If you would like to send me any and i was careful on thanksgiving i only cut my leg in one place and it didnt feel like a turkey bowl there was no snow and i was in shorts and a T-shirt it was really weird but it was still really fun to get out and do something active. Thanks for the stats dad i really like hearing about that kind of stuff it makes me happy. Is Alex okay still is she improving or what i would really like to hear more about it. I am still using Emv and the juice i am almost done with the first bottle and almost all the Emv is gone also so that would be a good christmas gift just a little hint there. but anyways how is jaclyn is she okay alos i mean it was her baby.

Jill since you are going to read this also thanks for the blogs and stuff i like those there very nice and HAPPY BIRTHDAY JILL sorry i didnt say anything last week but i still said it so dont get mad at me i remebered sometime. Jen i read some of your Blog and just curious was the kacie you were talking about Kacie Hart whatever her married name is now?? Well i heard the weather in rexburg was really cold but i guess on friday there is a chance of snow down here how much snow is up there send me a picture of it i wanna have a white christmas ha well it will almost be one not really but maybe. the weather tho has been relativly nice compared to back home. It has the same feel with a really cold wind but there isnt any snow on the ground its kind of sad.

Transfer calls are this saturday which is kind of depressing this transfer has been so much fun and everybody says that i'm leaving so i dont know where i'll be next week it could be in oklahoma well on the border anyway. I set a new max for my bench this week which is 175lbs which isnt to bad considering i only weigh about 155-160 so i can bench more than i weigh i feel good about that. Elder Goldsberry wanted me to tell yall that he beat in basketball again he has done it twice it was a really close game tho 11-13 i was up 7-1 and he said that me just shooting the 3 ball was boring so i didnt shoot one for a while then he came back and i couldn't shoot anymore it was really bad he had really good defense tho it was sad that i could make any of my wide open layups tho i was kind of upset at that. Well i will write a letter to ya Mom if i forgot anything in your letter and i found an envelope big enough for som epictures so i'll send yall some of them too. Well i gotta go family bye-bye.

Hey family i'm sorry i couldn't tell ya'll that i was emailing today i wish i would have known but i found out yesterday so yeah. Well this week has been really good i got moms package and we got a baptism i think i told last week about him Shawn so if not tell me and i'll tell ya about him. Mom thanks for the package and Dad thanks for the mints they are really good ha. Well tomorrow on thanksgiving we are going to go play football with some people in our Ward, i Hope its fun i miss it a lot out running everyone and hitting people i miss that a lot. Mom that was a lot of frosting i dont think i want to eat it all i'm already getting fat well bigger than i have ever been but i will have to sacrifice and just eat it cause i want to. i'm excited to make those pancakes to they look really good too. Also that fudge stuff looks amazing i cant wait to try it i love makin stuff. There hasn't been much going on lately tho we are teaching this way cool lady named Claudia i think i already told ya about her but her kids names are Alex and Dani and Adrian i bet you cant guess which one is the boy you should try and i'll tell ya'll which one it is next week. They are all really cool tho we taught them the 10 commandments in a really fun way so they will never forget... I Learned them the same way and havent forgotten them its a cool thing i will teach ya'll over a video i thinks its way sweet. Its weird how thing like that make me happy its different than what I've ever done. Its hard concentrating on just one thing all the time i have a hard time doing it honestly. But i dont have any cool stories lately sorry i will work on that and tell ya when they happen. okay? Well Aunt Barbara i have to agree the weather here changes so fast it is messing with my allergy's real bad like i have to take benadryl and stuff like that all the time. i also found out i'm allergic to fresh Pecans like the one you crack yourself. I had never had them before and they made my throat itch and stuff it wasn't good. But now i don't have anything to say umm my address is

Email Update

Hey Mom and Dad and Jill and Jeremy and Sean and Jax and Aunt Barbie, and everyone else who didnt write me a letter.

Hey Ya'll thank you so much for all the letters have yall seen Ian lately i heard he was going somewhere in new york I had never heard of it before honestly. So this week has been way fast we are workin hard and are having fun i think that those 2 go hand in hand hard work and happiness thats somethin for all yall future missionaries out there its really true when you have the spirit it feels so right, you just want more of it. Sean i am so excited dude awe i get the chills thinkin about your call i hope you go to somewhere where there are yarn heads like yourself haha that way you wonr feel so awkward. well i am gonna sen my mom a Memory card with pictures and stuff on it so ya'll can see what i've beeen doing for about 3 months now. Dad i loved your letter its so good to hear about Colton and Jordon that is so good that they are preparing and jordon gonedoes eveyone think its weird?? I was just thinking about going and getting him and how excited i'd be and everything it is gonna be so tight but that is a long ways a way. so back to texas ha well i dont know if i told ya'll about When i gave my first Blessing...so i'll tell ya just in case. Well it was about 2 or 3 weeks in the field and we (me Elder Goldsmith and elder Steffler and Elder McBride) went to Scott and White, a big ole Hospital in temple and we waited there for about 2and a half hours cause our bishop asked us to go give a blessing to someone. So we went and we couldnt go in cause the babies parents weren't there it was so Long so we left and then our bishop said to go back cause we could do it now so we went back but we waited for another hour and then we got in cause her grandparents were there. So we went in adn we talked to the Mom and aunt and asked what happened and theBabues Father had shaken her and it was so weird cause she just sat there spread eagle and she didnt move it ws a sad sight and then we gave her a blessing and i felt the Spirit so strong in there it was so cool and that just made my testimony ofpreisthood power grow exponencially somethin like that its a big word the i cant spell ha sorry i am not that smart. So we called the next week and they were out of the Hospital and she was Better. 

Well Mom i think that is a good experiance dont you? Well i think you could send brooke Flowers and say in the note From your best friend. It doesnt matter what kind of Flowers either. That would be a good idea thatnk you sobmuch for that. Dad me and elder goldsberry love the EMv and thanks for the update on everything i have to send Brett and chris letters that are in cool shirts too i didnt know they came over ha so i will have to do that. Tell Tammy and Jared if you see them that A mission is the best thing that Jordon could ever do. Jill & Jeremy thanks for te Emails and i dont know about the stamps but i bought some too i'lllook through all the letters yall sent me and i will find them or not find them either way its a good thing i have all the letters everyone sent me organized so it wont be too hard. Also our apartment's Carpets got Cleaned and it looks really good i love it i am a big fan of Clean ha thknas for that mom itsa blessing. Sean i am so stoked for you and ian and chris that is crazy i cantwait to here were all yall are going. Well thats all i think well actually We have a baptism this week...His name i shawn Davis he is cool kid i like his family a lot they are the best ward missionaries every ha well now thats all i think. yeah thats all wait i lied a funny story. We are teaching a lady and her name is Claudia and she is a way cool lady and we were helping her move and a long story short se told me i was a bad A yeah i laughd and agreed ha my soul delighteth in truth ha that was nephi talking there okay now i have to get off i am almost out of time okay well love you all bye bye
