June 10: Mui caliente en Tejas!!

Hello hello everybody!

  Well this week sure has gone by super fast, i cant believe that i am already sending another E-mail.  Well some cool stuff has happened since last Thursday, Monica (Marissa's Mom) has moved her baptismal date from the 10th of August to the 19th of June!!  So her and her daughter will both be getting baptized on June 19th next Saturday!  Its really cool, also we got a car to drive around for a while  yeah I'm so happy its not permanent and we only get 500 miles a month so we cant really drive that much but its enough to be enjoyable!  The car is a 2007 Chevy Malibu and its white and it goes pretty quick from what i have experienced so far. Anyways the title of the E-mail is true its getting hot here like super hot it hit 100 last week so yeah i miss the nice cool Rexburg weather its sad to say but its true.  For those of you who say that you would switch me you wouldn't want to stay here for one more day after one day in the 100 degree weather.  I felt like melting that day this was before we got the car so we were sweating it out on a bike and man was it hot!  

Texas is fun tho i am enjoying myself here Highland Village has some really cool people.  Also another cool thing that happened this week was that we had President Thurston's Last Zone Conference.  It was a really good one i enjoyed it a lot.  The Trainings given were really good.  Also President Sagers comes here on the 28th of June. Crazy!  Its coming really fast and its gonna be really weird when it happens I think.  Speaking of that Mom and Dad did you guys happen to see him?  If yes, how did it go?  Dad you should ask Rick if he remembers a family named the Hansen's who lived in Oklahoma his First name is Neil so if you could he wanted to know cause he knows Rick and Spencer.   Mom my address i already told you just send it to there its really close by so I will get it like one day later than i would if you just sent it too me.  I cant really think of anything that i need specifically.  Elder Barney's first name is Samuel (Sam).  Mom even with Colton gone i don't think you will ever be empty nesters I mean Jordon will come over Sean probably will come over not to mention all of the College kids like Scott who will keep coming over.  So, you will never be an empty nester ha.  I love you mom thanks for the E-mail i appreciate it!  Dad thanks for both the letter and the E-mail i recieved both of them, your letter on tuesday and e-mail today!  We always seem to have some kind of car trouble dont we?  Thats to bad about the cars and your too nice to let mom drive your CTS.  Just kidding i think that your just nice enough.  I hope that everything keeps goin up in your Buisness and i hope that you can retire comfortably when i get home or even before, that would be cool.  I feel kinda sorry for you having to mow darrins lawn but just a little bit haha.  Speakig of college tuition did you ever get a chance to go too coach miller and talk to him about the game film at all?? If you did thanks if not its okay you'll just have to pay for college haha jkjk.  I love you dad good luck in finishing out school and everything talk to ya next week.  

Mike thanks io am trying and my comp has a red spanish book the same one you have and i am trying to get him to give it to me so then i can really learn some Espanole.  It is weird that you have been out for almost 6 months!!  I have been out 7 transfers man so weird but before ya know it you will be at 7 and i will be at 10 thats creepy.  but i am running out of time and i have to say a few more thing but thanks Elder Dayley for the email.  Dillon thats good that your moving along you should probably tell her tho she might want to know when one day your gone and cant call her or email or anything that might be important.  Just a thought, and you know i was just kidding about the camera breaking thing.  Good luck with filling out your papers tho man i hope that it works out for ya.  Thanks Dill.  Pord i am excited for your letters,  and thanks for comforting my mom ha your awesome.  i hope you find those songs cause then you can take them with you and listen too them and love them like i do.  Jeremy thanks for the picture its really cool i hope that things keep going strong cause i would love to have somebody with the same birthday month as me in the fam!   Alright times up y'all love ya have an awesome week!

June 3: Happy Birthday Aliyah

Hey Y'all,

    Hey aliyah i hope you read this cause i am wishing you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!Love you Leah!  

Well this week has been a real a blast.  We set a date for the 19th of June with a girl (and maybe her mom) Who has been investigating for about 3-4 months now. They are a really cool family there names are Marissa and Monica Tagleary(Tag-lee-air-ee).  Also we are having a blast riding our bikes around.  Which reminds me,  While me and Elder Barney were out Tracting we stopped by a Part Member family and we were sitting there talking to them and outta nowhere 3 crazy girls walk by and casually start too pick up our bikes like its no big deal.  I look at em and I'm like "hey whoa there chica" and they tried to tell us that they were their bike and we just like umm no, they were so weird but it was a funny experience tho to tell you.  Another Bike thing that happened too us this week well actually yesterday we were riding our bikes back too the church for an exchange and it started Raining and then it rained some more and by the time we got to the church we were thoroughly soaked and we had too go right then so we were like okay its your car.  It was really refreshing tho i enjoyed it.  

Lewisville is a really cool place i like it a lot so far the members are very missionary minded like extremely its really awesome.  Mom our teaching pool is alright we have enough people to teach but we could use some new faces and we are trying hard we have a good time tracting tho Elder Barney is and Introvert and i am a very Extrovert person so I am the loud one and he is the quite one we balance out each other very well.  My shirts are fine no matter what they look like if i have them on they look good   Elder Barney lives umm you know where the road forks up millhollow his house is the one on the right corner right next to 2nd S.  

Mike thanks for that email i really appreciate that its nice to hear that.  Your an inspiration for me as well, so you best keep on truckin man.  Te quero amigo. Brett I got you letter and i really like it buddy you sound like a missionary already ha well you should you are in the field.  So how did the 5 NI go are you still teachin them?? The work here is hard too man and i dont exactly have ballers on every corner ha its okay tho. I dont want to break anyone ankles and then have em sue the church ha.  Well man i will write you back a leter w/more info on it.  Te Quero.  Pord you always ask if there is anything you can do for me and yeah you can find a group named the Molanie Brothers.  I'm not 100% sure thats how you spell it but they are Poly's and they make good music that i can listen too so you could totally hook me up that way. amo pord.  Jill I just got your E-mail and that is so super awesome i am so EXCITed nobody else has anything in my month so thats pretty much awesome but we still gotta pray and give credit where credit is due. Right?  yeah so we should keep praying and just like Alma and his little band of followers stop in the wilderness and thank God.( See Mosiah 22ish for the whole story).Its still way awesome tho just so ya know! Hey Dill, Well man i have to say Texas is pretty much awesome adn i didnt have too eat crazy food i get too eat really good food a lot tho soits pretty much the bomb!  I would have liked too speak espanole tho thats the only thing thats a downer.  Other than that state side is the bomb-diggity.  Well man good luck on those pics, dont stare directly at the camera it might break just a work of advise.  Love ya dude. May 27: HAPPY B-DAY MOM

Hey Y'all!

      Okay well first off HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!! Your birthday was my Month day so its like we have the same birthday. Well now I am in a place called Highland Village and i am lovin life. Its in the Lewisville Zone or stake whatever you wanna call it.   My Companion is Elder Barney he is from REXBURG  he said that he lives behind the hospital kind of by our house.  We live with Members and there house is pretty nice its way cool too.  I haven't really met the whole family yet.  We live in a pink little loft thing on the back side of there house.  The Mcintires is there name or something like that.  Our area is another bike area so yeah for me nice and hott during the summer.  This area is really really rich like everybody is loaded we went to two peoples houses last night and their homes were big.  This is quite the change from Killeen there are no ghetto's, no big rims, and no Army folk either.  I have a feeling tho that we are gonna have a lot of fun this transfer. Thats about the only change in my life now.  Jill did you ever live with members??? 

Brett man i cant wait for your letter my area is doing well as far as i know i think that we could have 4 baptisms this transfer.  We have 2 dates already but they are pretty far off so we are going to move them up tonight so yeah and 2 for miracles.  Hotlanta sounds pretty Hot tho i feel for ya i dont know how hot it is here i dont wanna know.  Pord i remember that ride it was fun when we did it i enjoyed it a lot.  Do you guys ride down poleline?  Or do you just go down 2nd E?  I cant wait for your letter back i am excited for it.  Dad thanks for the really long letter today i loved it.  Its okay that you didnt send me a letter last week i still love ya.  just as much and i got the Emv thank you.  Thanks for the encouragement and Compliments they are much appreciated.  Mom i am sorry i didnt write you a letter i will this week and it will be a good one i hope that you have a great B-day and i will continue to pray for jill i hope she has a new boy/girl when i get home.  Buddah thanks for the letter well email i liked it a lot and you can email me all you want i just cant send you a personal email back so email me away haha. MIke man thanks for the letter and happy b-day to you too i totally forgot about that but yeah your right we are getting to be quite old .  Well i have a letter just waitin for the address to send it too. Btw did you get transfered or what?? May 20: Email Update

Hola mi Familia! Y Mi Amigos!

     Okay well this week has been a blast!!  Me and Elder Bagley have biked a ton we went too the most Northern tip of our area and then the next day we went to the most southern tip it was awesome yesterday we biked about 19+ Miles wow right?!  Also we finally Baptized Erik it took us a while but we did it and ha was also confirmed because we have Stake Conference this weekend so we decided to do it that day instead it was really cool.  Elder Bagley got to do both of them it was his first real convert so it was even better that way.  It was great to get all of your Letters its always good to hear about all y'all it makes me feel loved.  

Sean i know you can do it buddy your awesome its just a test you can make it back out people need to feel of your spirit so get better and Just Do It.  Pord i sent you a letter today cause i kinda didnt have any stamps until today so sorry it took it a while but its comin i promise and it kind of is a crappy letter so i am writing another one today so dont be disappointed with the first one i was in a rush.  I hope i set a good example for ya i am doing better now than i was before.  Congrats on Graduation Jocey hope it is/was fun.  Mike Colorado es mui Malo Tejas is Mucho Mejor Y Tejas es Mucho Bueno!! Ha jk it is pretty Ballin tho man and SLCC sounds like a plan that would be awesome if we can i am excited to do it.  Mike send me your mission address so i can write ya letter for reals okay?  Brett i kinda need your address too.  How is your trainer? Do you like him?  Do you have a door approach yet?  How big is your area?  Ha a lot of questions sorry but it is gettin way hot I got a mean sun burn yesterday cause we spent all day tracting it wa fun.  I got fried like usual.  You sound great now just give me an address.   Colton, my little brother, I would definitely put up a good fight now i am scrappy as always and now got a little meat on me.  Texas is good tho its still pretty warm and humid as always but i love it i'm getting Acclimated so it isnt as bad as it could be.  You should start school in august.  I think that way you can get done with it and get a career and move on with life.  I dont know if you can or not but you should try.  Love you Bro keep bein you and be nice to Claud or i'll fight ya when i get home haha.   

Mom, You sound very busy.  How was your trip?  I'm just guessin that its over now.  Tell Jill i'm prayin for her every night and that it will happen for her i know it will they should keep on growing strong.  Tell the Calderwoods Hi for me.  I will look that up it sounds interesting.  I love you mom your awesome you keep on keepin on life hard but we need the bitter so we can taste the sweet!  D&C 136:31  my favorite Scripture as of now.  Dad i hope school is going well and that your havin fun with it.  Just a question did you get a chance to talk to Coach Miller about the films??  Thanks if ya did and Please if ya didnt ha.  Well i love you all your awesome and i will tel ya next week where i am and if i left and all that good stuff.  Okay well i love you guys every single one of ya.

May 13: Email Update

Hey everyone, (Especially Dillon)

       Well guys my week has been good i'm lovin Texas still and just livin my life like a missionary!  This weekend we are baptizing Erik, well technically Elder Bagley is but thats besides the point.  We also have a baptismal date for the 30th of May with a guy named Dennis Reggan he needs the gospel in his life and is really excited to get baptized!  So the work is moving froward and life is still as awesome as ever.  For anyone who asked or reads this Who wants an address can send me anything to:

Thats the address for the whole mission and with transfers coming up i dont know if i am staying or going and that address will send the letter, package, or whatever to where i am at when they get it so even if i move i'll get it from them.  

okay so on to questions from everyone Dillon well no i didnt know that her dad died thats weird,  I bet that you can bench more than me i havent benched in forever.  I love you Dillon. Colton i'm doing awesome, Texas is close to what its all cracked up to be everyone here is prideful they like Texas a lot, My plans are to come home and play ball i think i will go to school somewhere or red shirta year at SLCC i think i don treally know yet,  You rock as well maybe not as much as me but close. Jeremy it was good to hear from you as well i like that story in Job i never thought about using it in a lesson tho its so smart i'm glad i know you your a genious! MOM hey madre thanks for the package i got it on monday and i loved every minute of it it was super awesome seeing some pictures of y'all and alos i liked seeing my pictures from high school they were nice. My mind was flooded with memories and good times.  So thanks for that, also i know who those poeple your talking about are and i hope Lunch was good.  Tell Jill that i love her and take your voice recorder thing and have her say hi to me okay!  I dont know what you can say to president saggers just say hi.  I love you mom and i sent a card to you so hopefully you get it before youleave for DC!

Dad Last but certainly not least,  Well my clothes all fit fine my pants are a little bit tighter but they are fine.  Thanks for the sports update thats always nice to see i enjoy it.  Thats good that jake is calming down just enough to say i love you too y'all.  Good lluck in louisville and keep up the good work on MonaVie can i get some EmV its all gone now i started drinking it and now its gone but wait about 2 weeks then i can send you my apartment address.  Love you Dad i sent you a B-Day card also so you'll get that soon.

May 6: Email Update

Hola everyone,

     Hey Family Friends and others!  Okay well my week has been really good we've been talking to people & just enjoying it.  It was so hot yesterday it was like 96 with 55% humidity. I was so sweaty it was nasty.  I have a camelback that i got from an investigator and its a life saver.  I think i am more hydrated then i have ever been in my life.  I am lovin Texas and just life in general its weird to think about what i did before this i feel like i have been a missionary my whole life.  Its crazy like i cant even fathom "Real Life".  You guys have to live in it everyday.

By the way Happy Birthday to DAD and Misty and Belated to Jaclyn (i think)!!!  Also Happy Mothers day MOM!  Other than the heat my life has been pretty much the same as always. I guess 6 o'clock my time will be okay for the call home.  I forget that you guys now have late church cause when i left it was at 11 which is what my church is at also.  Well i told you guys that i was getting bigger and nobody believed me >: (  I have found time in between missionary efforts to work out and get bigger just like Coach Parish told me to do so i can play Ball when i get home : )  I haven't gotten mom's package yet and i am waiting for it patiently.  Somthing that i would like if you can find it anywhere would be Bag Pipe hymns or classical Bag Pipe music.  Its a good change up from regular Motab and piano's. So thats my one request this week i think that that would be really cool but dont just send that wait till you want to send me more stuff i can wait for that.  Umm,  Brett it was really good to hear from ya i cant wait for your letter i'm so excited to read it.  Ha i love mail its awesome.   I dont get very much snail mail but i get good emails so thats okay.   T bear i didnt even hear about your Call i feel so left out now y'all where are ya going?? I am stoked about that i cant wait to know where your going your awesome man keep the faith be a really good missionary!!!!  Pord i am jealous of ya i really would like to here that concert haha tell me how it is and take pictures and send them too me so i can see you!  It is nice to get a letter from you every week too i love it. Elder Dayley man que paso?  Mi es mui Bueno and mi es mucho cansado.  Yo amo sue!  Amor Elder Walker.  

 Hey gracy happy late b-day i love you.  Jace your good at typing i love you too!!  hey Jill and Jeremy i love you guys i'll send ya a letter with my thoughts and stuff.  Mom your awesome thanks for dealing with jake and my friends and everything thats actually really funny about jake and Deseret book store. it made me laugh and i will talk to you the longest on sunday i am glad that you guys were so much help to my friends! Whose Carleton?? I love you mom and hope your package comes!   Dad i will do that thingy today and send it to you i am sorry for this thing i should have taken care of it. Tell Pord that he is family and can get on for the whole thing but i only have 40 minutes this time and yeah you can tell Brooke to jump on like i would say no haha. Also we can use our cell phones this time so its all good.  Anyways you guys are awesome i will talk to you on sunday and am supper excited to do that!
